Thanks Chris.
Great haul. That is one beautiful engine! Thanks for sharing. Dave
Awesome haul Chris
A really super haul, Chris! That Premier Angus set is awesome, especially the 0-8-8-0 Camelback! Looking forward to your review of that set and all the other goodies you snagged. Thanks for the visit.
Wow. You DID do some real damage today. Congrats!! Nice stuff.
Hola buen dia excelente video abrazo grande muy bueno los videos!!!!
Wow great buys I love that 0880 steam engine set I have never seen that one before 👍
Almost ready for the entertainment!
Some awesome finds Chris! Love that Erie set you picked up, it’s very unique.
Thanks 👍
great video Chris!
Thanks!
Great haul!!!
Thank you!!
One other thing I need to add Chris. We here on the East Coast take hobby shops for granted. We're also very spoiled. I was just out in California visiting family and I was shocked by what happened to a lot of hobby shops in Central California. There were not a lot when I grew up there in the 1980s and 1990s but there were a few. But when I visited the Central Valley and San Francisco I was stunned by what happened. Many of the shops from Bakersfield north toward Sacramento have closed. San Francisco has one hobby shop that told me they just do N and HO. And I asked if I could swing by Public Delivery Track and they said they do not have a store front. The lesson I learned is that those of us who love this hobby need to support local shops like Dans. Originally I wanted to retire out west and be closer to California because of my roots and history there. However, as I told my sister what would I do? There are no hobby shops to visit or train clubs where my family is from. Can you imagine not having a hobby shop to visit? I can not. So we need to support hobby shops here big time.
I’m so excited!
This is my primary hobby shop in the D.C. area Chris. The bulk of my stuff I get at Toy Trains & Collectibles and have been doing so since they opened. Many people at the National; Capitol Trackers get their trains here. I picked up the MTH Premier Great Northern GP9 earlier today when I was there and I know in the near future I am going to be hit by the Lionel Milwaukee Road SD45s, and Atlas O Milwaukee Road SD40-2s. Dan and Hope run a fantastic shop. This is a good place to go and I am happy to spend my hard earned money here. I will probably bump into you at some point so keep up the videos.
I was at Toy Trains and Collectables the weekend before your trip. Picked up a couple of tank cars. That was a nice shop to see. Might have to check out the Toy Exchange. Bobber cabooses are pretty cool. I have Western Maryland and also the Elk River in my collection. The articulated camel back is one insane looking engine. Glad you was in the color scheme you wanted Chris. Do enjoy!
Chris you have some nice pieces I live in Hagerstown Maryland will have to check out that train store nice video thanks for sharing.
really like the JB Hunt truck. and oh coarse the 0880 is awesome. hurry up with the history lesson on that one.
That’s an awesome set, was just looking at one of those a friend has!
It really is!
Man I forgot how good looking my P7e is.
Articulated camelback.strange beautiful.that is something else
Great video Chris! Love your videos man, that Angus engine is beautiful. Can’t wait to see that review on that engine.
Thanks 👍
Welcome to the Camelback club.
Great Haul Chris!! That Angus locomotive is gorgeous!! It’s nice to see something new and totally different. The whistle sounds very unique to that engine. Can’t wait to see your full review on that engine and complete set!!
Thank you very much! It is so unique and one that I've had on my wish list for quite some time. So thrilled when we found the box!
The 2600 Erie is absolutely beautiful
I’m a bit jealous of the JB Hunt Freightliner, that’s a beautiful model, I need more big rigs on my own layout. Wish I could have made it down, maybe next time. Great video!
Thanks 👍 I was thrilled to find that model. Hoping to find another one day.
@@ChrissTrainsandThings On the 26-27th there’s a train show in Monroeville, last time I was there there was a vendor selling only diecast scale trucks, might be worth looking at if you’re interested. I bought a Peterbilt cabover from him
@@jsallscales7856 unfortunately I’ll be out of town that weekend! I’ll keep my eyes out at future shows.
I love trains and Amtrak trains and tri rail trains and fec freight trains and freight trains
Also are you and all your buddies planning on getting in Eric's diesel
Another great video. Sorry couldn't make it to see you, as I live in Chicago, and had to work. But wanted to ask about Perry's Toy Exchange. Would you recommend this store? Do they have any good deals? I'm always willing to help a hobby store.
Thanks for watching! Perry's was interesting. All preowned stuff lots of protosound 1 items and standard gauge. I would highly recommend toy trains and collectibles if you're looking for new and lightly used modern inventory!
I just put on the three for all you posted I was curious on your update of your layout for the beneath the layout staging. Also I wondered if you heard the news I'm sure you have about Eric's Lionel diesel engine your thoughts on that please can't imagine they're nothing but excitement but just conversation thank you can't wait to watch your three for all
Vic - I'm currently waiting for switches and track to arrive from Ross Custom Switches. Once that arrives I'll be able to continue with the progress under the layout. I did hear about Eric's engine, very neat, but I'm not ordering it. Sticking with steam unless it's a set.
thanks for watching!
@@ChrissTrainsandThings thank you for the update talk to you soon stick with the steam I love it better myself
Wow Chris, did you score with that Angus! Good job man!
It's more like a piece of fine sculpture than a model locomotive!
Yes indeed! Thanks!
How close are you to Sid and RJ
about 2 hours.
I hope you do like Donald trump' yes or no
