@@monteedwins8628when you consider that these are the descendants of an elsaved people who couldn't afford nothing and had to buy cheap old records and use drug money just to afford 2nd hand speakers and an MPC, it's quite impressive what they were able to do, the same people that said the 80s and 90s kids were stealing also had a problem with funk in the late 60snand 70s and also hated on the kids who were doing Jazz in the 40s and 50s calling in Mumbo Jumbo and not "real music"... Guys like Pete Rock and J Dilla can really flip samples in a unique that's completely original, but sometimes all they wanna do is take a smooth Smokey Robinson record and rap over it, no different to what D'Angelo did with his cover of Cruising on the Brown Suga album. The problem is that talentless hacks like Diddy took sampling and applied it just to make money
