Drinking Slivovitz (Slivoshitz): Reactions

In honour of Natasha, Mallory and I take shots of Slovovitz in Belgrade, Serbia. Featuring hilarious reactions to this nasty assjuice concoction.

Very old video but i have to leave my 2 cents. As with any liquor ever made you get what you pay for. If you buy a cheap bottle of vodka or scotch it will taste like crap and same goes for slivovitz. I would highly recommend that if you ever visit Serbia again ask around for more premium slivovitz and you will see that there is a huge difference in taste. The good stuff is smooth as butter no alcohol burn whatsoever. Try Yellow wasp next time you visit :)

I do wonder if it was real Slivovitz or cheap imitation Slivovitz, the difference is the the real stuff is a blue plum brandy that is distilled with whole fruit (and their pits) while the imitation is a sugar-based liquor with prune juice.
One drink that you may wish to try is Umeshu, it is a Japanese Plum(ish) liqueur that has a sweet sour taste (although I get mostly sweet and syrupy in texture). Very easy to down, even for those that do not normally like alcohol.
