Last Day of J Express Trains at Marcy Av (G Train Shutdown)

Signal Modernization for CBTC on the IND Crosstown Line resulted in systematic shutdowns on the G train, with service being partially suspended in different segments throughout the summer of 2024. To accommodate passengers traveling into Manhattan, J and Z trains ran local between Marcy Av and Myrtle Av-Bway. Once the work is complete and G train service is restored, J/Z trains will resume normal express service.
