I reverted almost 2 1/2 yrs ago. I was raised as one of Jehovah's Witnesses (29 yrs), babtized at age 14. Left & went back 3 times. The last time I left, I said I would never go back. I was on the search for a true connection with God for years (even as one of JWs). Allah answered my prayer & led me to Islam. He has blessed me in so many ways. I left the States & moved to Cairo, Egypt 2 yrs ago to really learn Islam. I am the happiest and the most content than I have EVER been in my life. This is the truth. Allah is the true God. I never doubted that. Alhamdulillah ❤️

Thank you for your beautiful story, I'm so happy for you. I was raised as a Jehovah's Witness as well. I left when I was 17 with a trauma and never wanted a religion again. But over the years( something like 25 years) I realized that my bad experience was hijacking me to believe in God. So I became an Agnost for some years. Something like 30 years after I left the Jehovah's Witness, I was 47, I became Muslim Alhamdulillah. I was married with a Muslim for 25 years already, when I became a Muslim. I never had the desire to become a Muslim. I didn't even wanted to have children with him, because I did not wanted to raise them as Muslims, because of my bad experience as a kid. I didn't wanted to give them Muslim names. I was and am in love with him, but I didn't care much about his culture. I'm so glad my husband had a lot of patience with me, and let me be, that was what I needed. My mom and stepdad are still Jehovah's Witnesses, and they talked with my husband about religion a lot. I always listened to their conversations and I still liked to talk about religion. I heard my husband make very strong points all the time, I guess that made me think more.

so do your children have Islamic names yet or even you and you have to know in Islam you can keep your name and you don't have to have Islamic names and I hope that wasn't a reason that you become not a good mother

I grew up Jehovah Witness also I found Islam a month ago I feel the same magnetizing pull, I fear that my family will not support it at all but I won’t let that stop me
Please do not let that stop you.
Family is important in Islam but they shouldn't stop you from acknowledging your Creator.

Jehovah is the name given to God through the Hebrew Language /the Tetragrammaton. This name is found in the manuscripts & Dead Sea scrolls. The real pronunciation is unknown by the letters that represent His name, so Christian scholars came up with the pronunciation of Jehovah.

As a former Jehovah's Witness of over 29 years, I know more about the name Jehovah, than you. And btw, I have gotten into debates with my Islamic class about the name, Jehovah. Jehovah means "The One Who Causes to Become". This is an attribute of Allah. Jehovah is one of Allah 's names. Just as the other 99 names of Allah.

I grew up a Shaheed and Actually left Islam to become a Jehovah's witness.
You grew up a martyr (A Shaheed?) or grew up a witness (shaheed)?? I don't believe you were ever really IN Islam; reading and studying and practicing.

I find JESUS well cooked Christianity to be more logical...but having brought up a JW the damage done may make you end up hating Christianity...it just terribly misinterprete the BIBLE

I'm a former Jehovah's witness too. I served as a Ministerial servant in a local Jw congregation. Now i'm still a christian, a biblical unitarian christian. And I also studying Islam.

My brother is not sad lol, he raised 7 children, 3 brothers and 2 sisters without my mother or father! He kept us together when we had no one. And we are still together and keep in touch to this day!! Thank you Big Bro! Always love you and forever grateful~ xoxo

Recently I learned that the 5000 years old Hindu scriptures have verses talking about the coming of prophet Muhammad peace and blessings be upon him. His name is also specifically mentioned in some of these Hindu scriptures. Hindu scriptures are older than the bible, torah, and existed even before prophet Ibrahim peace and blessings be upon him. How this is possible if Islam was not the true religion of ALLAH. Islam is the submission to the will of your creator. All prophets from Adam to Muhammad peace and blessings be upon all of them have submitted their will to the will of ALLAH and that is why all of them and their followers were Muslims. -
My Girl friend was Jehovah witness and She embraced Islam but she due to fear of family censure got married to A Methodist Christian. May she reverts to Islam .please pray for her .

Nobody is doing bad now and you won't know you are doing bad in your heart. I can see that your parents were not a faithful or royal to God Jehovah neither your family repentance for sin . They did not change or even follow the bible teaching that is why your family suffered from all cost of life without faith in god .
