Midas said my Tacoma has a "tiny hole" in the oil pan, then quoted me $1900 to fix it since (they said) they'd have to pull the engine out. A friend recommended JB Weld so I'm reading up on it and watching vids. Thank you!
Aye bro how did it turn out? I just did mine and waiting for it to cure til tmr to add oil
@@axselgonzalez3857Got a 2nd opinion. Dude says there's NOT a hole in the oil pan, but did recommend about $800 in repairs. Still trying to save my pennies to pay for it.
@@tanataylor4769 yeah? They told me 1600 for a crumb size hole, I added a second coat of the jb weld last night before I slept, I’ll let you know how it turned out man
@@tanataylor4769 car is up and running for 200 miles now, no leaks and check engine light disappeared 🫡💪
Thank bud.
Did it work?? Man I am about to use it on my oil pan bc I can't take off the oil pan bc my 2009 Mitsubishi eclipse is difficult .....has the exhaust in the way but did your jb steel stick work??
My Car Has The Same Problem. Not Sure What To Do. Hate Taking It In Somewhere...And Get All These BOGUS Charges...(If You Know What I Mean.)
Question: So, You Said It Worked -Right?
TYIA + TFS!!!
🙂💜
Im pretty sure I need jack stands as well Don't want to be crushed like a can
I did use them. You’re right. Not smart to go under any vehicle without them!
You can fill a small hole? Then you got a serious issue 🤨
Hey guys I used a steel stick and than added jb weld to a big crack on my truck , the crack was more than 1 in and I haven’t seen one drop of oil. I definitely would recommend and put it on properly. Save lots of money
Epic if true. I just hit a pothole the size of the grand canyon and it gashed my oil can and it all came out like it got hit in the jugular.
@@air4045 did u fix it?
@@axselgonzalez3857 Yeah, for a couple few weeks.
@@axselgonzalez3857 It's a good temporary fix that's it. Meant to reply right away oops
@@air4045 temporary? Nah I don’t know, think you just gotta take care of it, you didn’t use the jb weld?
