Harman flipped polarity on the A130 Stage mid production to manipulate its cost to performance relationship. Ask me how I know. Amir and Erin measured the same loudspeaker with an alignment disparity. A130 sonics are polarity dependent. It is one of the greatest bookshelf speakers ever made when it is aligned correctly. Give it a try, positive cable to black terminal on both speakers. They will stun you if you've been listening to them wrong.
@@LeandroSQ01 What he is saying is that the polatiry on the connectors is reversed. Reversing the polarity won’t damage the speaker, but it can significantly affect the sound quality, so you should test by connecting the negative/norm black (amp) to positive/norm red (speaker) and positive/norm red (amp) to negative/norm black (speaker) and see the sound stage difference if it is better or worse. Only in such scenario you will know whether yours have been reversed in the internal wiring or not. I have a JBL Stage A130 myself since 2019, and they sound truly amazing. You can also test it with a normal battery from 1.5V and connect positive to positive and negative to negative battery/speaker pole, if it is properly internally wired, the speaker should move outwards, if it is internally reversed wiring the speaker will move inwards.
I'm curious, how far do you have these from the wall? Thinking of getting a pair, but have to put them close to the wall and am worried about them getting boomy. Yours sound great and I would appreciate any insight or tips.
Nice but if that sub is on then your not truly giving me the sound I want to hear, I don't want to have to buy a sub, if they sound like that with it off then I'm getting them.
