I'm a Spanish native and I have classes in English at uc3m, as well as at least 50% of my class I think. And well, I'm studying an engineering, but my brother is studying a degree in the Getafe campus that is also in English so it surprises me that you didn't find any Spanish there. And yeah one year is 3000€ if you don't have any kind of discount or scholarship.
It's sad americans come to spain to study in english...the point of the experience is travelling but also learning the language ,the culture and mix with locals!
It is very weird that you didn't have any homework in class. I have studied in different Spanish Universities and in all of them we had individual projects, group projects, and many tasks to do for the next class... In my opinion, Covid changed all the study program of each subject since the classes were online :-( In general, students are not happy with online classes... I hope you can have the chance to study again in Spain when the covid situation is over :-) Thank you for sharing your experience!
Very helpful video :) It seems like classes are taught similar to University of California classes. We have two instructors for most classes, one professor for Lecture and a TA for discussion class. Thank you for sharing your experience, I will be checking out your other videos
Heyy, I'm planning on applying to this university. Do they speak OK English? I mean sometimes I struggle to understand spanish people who have a thicker accent so I'm a bit worried about the classes. Thanks for your video! It was super informative.
If you guys have any questions that I didn't answer in this video, ask away! I'll probably do a updated Q&A video if I have enough questions
I've been in uc3m in Getafe like you. Now I am a lawyer working in Madrid. I loved the experience. I hope one day I will see NY.
