Great content as always. Just wanted to ask about colour gamut Auto Detect versus Native for HDR gaming. Im finding Native gives better saturation versus Auro without being overdone. What are your thoughts on this?
Good question . Some game are natural in native and other it's in auto 🤷 strange . In dolby vision on Netflix, U Can see it's native locked ! 🤷 Same with the sound : Dolby Atmos content + dolby digital Plus = better Atmos effect than Atmos+ auto 🤷😮💨
Auto is correct. Native is pushing it into a larger color space. Honestly it doesn't matter much. Use whatever looks best to your eyes. After all, you're the one watching it. The entire point is to enjoy it Personally, I didn't pay a bunch of money for a high-end TV to be stuck to the standards which have to cater to the "average tv".
these comparisons are great! constructive criticism: i would prefer to just have a simple, small white text label for HDR and SDR, the graphics and game logos distract a lot when trying to focus on the image and I notice my eyes always drifting off to the text elements 😅 (I know the high brightness was not intentional)
@@GamingTech-UA-cam The developers might have wanted to make the game look great for everyone, so they put the effort to balance it properly in both modes. It makes a big difference and shows that they care. And thanks to your video, we're able to see that balancing
Esses vídeos lado a lado é muito bom para ver a diferença. HdR nesse game é fantástico, pessei que todos os games no ps5 seriam nesse nível de detalhe, mas infelizmente não é o que estamos vendo.
This drives me nuts. I can guarantee you sdr is set to game mode which is trash. Turn your tv to vivid mode then turn off motion processing. Nobody uses game mode.
We need more videos like this, to see the true comparison between hdr and sdr!
Need more of these :D
Its coming

This! My samsung QN90B is the same Auto detect looks more natural but that native saturation pops

@@MKR3238 i will change the brightness or the text next time
This game is so well balanced in both SDR and HDR. Looks great!
Thank you again for making these comparison videos
Yes I was very surprised that there is not much of a difference

I play this game and gives me motion sickness
But it looks amazing and I won't stop playing it
Sdr seems to have a grey-ish layer over the image, hdr seems more 3d-ish
Yes, but still SDR is really good in this game
He reversed the footage. what a clown. The better looking one is SDR
hallo

@@rccottrell what? Vivid mode really? BTW this is recorded directly from the source. That's how the game is mastered.
