- In this video i will show you how to properly dismantle your Galaxy's Edge Dark Saber to reach the Battery Cavity and change the 3 AAA Batteries that are inside. it is a pretty simple process however you will need to acquire a few items to proceed with the battery swap

Helpful video... except you got the part about which screws on the removable battery pack to unscrew completely backwards: the small screw in the middle is actually the one you need to remove, that allows the battery pack cover to slide off, the two screws on the sides should _not_ be touched as they are the screws that keep the end cap of the battery pack on to protect underlying circuitry.

I think I messed mine up. I’ve taken it off nd put it back together 7x and no sound and no light😢.
Thanks man. I pulled mine out after about a year in the closet and it was dead. I had no idea how to change the batteries and either a) I threw away any documentation or, b) no documentation was included on charging the batteries.
I just changed the battery on the handle can u advice on what else to do if that doesn’t work? Makes sounds just doesn’t light up

I just got my darksaber 2 weeks ago and I’ve only tooken it out once. Everything worked fine. But I decided to take it out tonight with all my other light sabers to turn them all on and take a picture and my Blade on my Darksaber didn’t light up. It made the connection noise and the hilt turned on but the blade didn’t. Would you happen to have any solutions? Or May know what’s wrong?
Maybe the light is broken or is dying that happened to mine before but I just had to put batteries in.

I’m trying to fix my little brothers dark saber battery but when I took the cap off to the bottom it didn’t slide out at all it’s stuck inside and idk of ways to remove it, can anyone help? Are there any tools that should be helpful
Is a lithium rechargeable battery in the darksaber replaceable or when it goes out or you just s*** out of luck

Got this today and was extremely disappointed to find out they are battery operated let alone AAA. Why? Should be just usb chargeable. Plus leaving batteries in collectibles tends to ruin them when the batteries inevitably explode
