Then put the bottles in a ziploc bag. I bought some shower caps from a janky site. They can’t fit a newborn’s head, but they work great for putting under the lid of a bottle.
Our last cruise my husband brought zero socks, thinking he would be wearing flip-flops the whole time. Well, elegant night comes and no socks lol. The only socks I had that he could squeeze his giant feet into had POM-POMS ON THEM! He wore them with pride 🤣
I just came back from a Bahamas Carnival cruise for a wedding and I always use a list because if I don’t I know for a fact I will over pack and buying that luggage scale is a must have I learned that fast when I went to Jamaica a few years ago! Wash your clothes the last day we always use the laundry on the ship Also if you fly in the day before and I always forget something there is always a quick run to the store I don’t worry about if I forget something now

Flying you need your wine inside your luggage, but at the ship, it has to be in your carry-on. It is best to try to buy on the way to the ship if flying in.

A good way to avoid luggage issues is to travel carry on only. Completed a 7 day cruise this spring and ensured we had pieces that can pair with alternates to create other outfits. This way will definitely prevent you from overpacking with airline luggage restrictions.

Funny thing abt the travel scale. I said I was gonna get my mama one because last time we went on a cruise and had to fly to New Orleans to get on the ship her luggage was over the limit on our way there and back and she had to rearrange and people waiting behind you. I had secondhand embarrassment 🤦🏿 lol

RC is strictly business. They took my brand new surge protector and it was sooooo crowded at the line to pick it up after cruise. I left it behind. I made the mistake of booking my flight at noon. 🤦🏾♀️ Didn’t get through customs until 10. OMG
The non surge extension cords make sense. The ship is essentially trying to prevent a surge from going back through their electrical lines and causing a fire since their electrical system isn’t grounded like your home would be. They probably have some sort of “built in” mass surge protector on the ship.
Can you go over the checkin process please, do our toiletries need to be in carry on for examination, or are those fine for suitcase? Also, how the hell do you pack a 12-pack of soda as a carry on?? just carry it?😂😅

Yep, I created a packing list in MS Word. When you put stuff in your suitcase put it on your list, then your list is created
