Hi everyone! In this video, I'm sharing about some items (I.e. handbags & more) that I regret buying and even some I regret selling. These are just my thoughts and "musings" on being intentional about purchases and some stories on items I regret letting go of. Thank you for sharing your time with me!

~ABOUT ME:
Hi, I'm Leslye! I make videos about all the things I love, hence the name "What Leslye Loves." In addition to being a new UA-camr, I enjoy life on the go as a momma of 5 beautiful kiddos, adventures with my hubby (aka my BFF), and life on the go as a Real Estate Advisor. This channel will share my thoughts on items I'm loving (or not), ways I keep things simple and streamlined as a larger family, and tips and tricks I've learned (or stumbled upon) along the way. Welcome to a little snippet of my world and What Leslye Loves!

Hi Leslye! I’m with you on being more intentional. I’m so tired of the buying and selling cycle. I love the 30/30 rule!
Right now, I have a Coach skinny scarf on my wishlist but am giving myself some time to think about it because realistically, who is really going to see the scarf once I tie it on my bag? 😅😂
I don’t experience too much seller’s remorse when it comes to handbags but lately I have been experiencing “purging”remorse when it comes to dresses from my past that I donated to local thrift stores especially during the 2020 lockdown. I really enjoyed this early morning chit chat video. Thank you for sharing! 🫶🏽
@@sibimarie I always appreciate your comments and you sharing as well… I think I have my eye on that same skinny scarf, but I agree… No one will get to see the beautiful design on it. So with those I tend to be pretty good.
It has been a huge learning process for me just because I’ve been in a unique position where my lifestyle has changed pretty drastically in the past few years and so I’m learning what works for me and what doesn’t. And then life changes again… 😅 but I am also giving myself permission to just enjoy the process and becoming more intentional about what I bring in and of course I let go of…
Oh my goodness… There’s this one dress that I regret letting go of because I have three daughters and I know two of them would have loved that dress… So I totally feel you on this one! Thank you for watching my dear! 🫶🏼
I definitely over purge. I get anxious with clutter and purging feels great. I need to do much less purging and only buy things I can see in my life for years.
@@MelissaAdams-Wade same! I need to avoid bringing items in I end up purging anyway. It takes experience and effort so I’m allowing myself the process of learning too.
I mught have to take that 30 day rule into consideration 😅
@@mrsleyva I already broke it for two FOMO purchases, but….I’m really going to aim to do so the remainder of the year. 😅
Oh, yes, buyer’s and seller’s remorse. I am guilty of way overthinking handbags. And for what?! lol. I don’t know why because not one other person on this planet cares about the bag I’m carrying. I’m with you on not necessarily being minimalist but keeping things simple. Editing to add that I’m also with you about cutesy charms and things giving an immature vibe. I can’t do that either but also don’t want to give grandma vibes. The struggle is real.
Yes! I do experience both buyers and sellers remorse--sometimes I purchase impulsively so then I feel bad and then I sell other items impulsively so I don't feel guilty. But later, I feel sad that I sold XYZ whatever bag and I want it back. Then I start looking for the bag again Yikes!!!! I like the idea of waiting 30 days before buying or selling something. I think I will even give myself a minimum of six months to one year before I "allow" myself to sell anything. I think that would help curb my impulse shopping. I'm not quite sure how I got onto this hamster wheel because like you pointed out, nobody cares! Nobody cares what bag (which I know and tell myself often) I carry so why do I?!
P.S. I can't pull off bag charms either!! I think they look cute on other people but my taste tends to be too vanilla for the extra fluff haha!
@@DogMomStephanie you are so right! I think the only people that would really care are those of us on the Internet that love handbags. But when we’re out in the real world, most people could care less what bag I’m wearing. However, I love to know that I love what I’m caring.so it’s why if I feel a certain way or I realize it doesn’t function the way I want it to, I let it go… The struggle is very real!
I definitely like the 30-day rule. I have had buyers and donators remorse. I usually give things to Goodwill. I have a reusable bag i am filling right now. There are clothing that i wish i had kept. I went through a phase where i was influenced by a friend and did the " girlie accessories ". They really were immature. I would rather have my pieces now look mature and give me a put-together look. I brought a fuchsia pink wallet by a designer. I could find it in an all black bag. Now the color irritates me. I should never have bought it. My goal now is to not by any more handbags for a while. And be more intentional about what i buy in the future . I do need a slim wallet for the crescent bag. You gave great advice. ❤
