Award-winning pianist and composer Nikki Iles takes her 18 piece Jazz Orchestra on a long-awaited national tour marking a new chapter in her distinguished career. This exciting music represents the breadth of Nikki's output over several decades at the forefront of British Jazz. It ranges from exquisitely textural orchestrations to deep grooves scored to inspire an array of powerful soloists - all this alongside music from Steely Dan and Vince Mendoza. Nikki has gathered a remarkable band that showcases perfectly the depth and range of her exhilarating writing. This gig will be less like a debut and more the work of a seasoned hand and a distinctive voice.

I saw Nikki with Mike Walker sometime in the 90's. It was a great gig but sparsely attended.
