Great video, great instruction. Your fly tying skills are fantastic! This was the first time I’d ever heard of or seen the Stonfo blade holder/cutter, and it’s a great tool for trimming the deer hair on muddlers. (I’m off to order one right now!). Thank you, I really enjoyed this video. 🙏
Hi Joe, thanks. Yeah I do recommend them, i have a couple but the Stonfo one is the more reasonably priced one. Most of them come with razor blades but they are poor quality and loose their edge after a couple of flies.
Very well tied barry as usual did you make that holder for the razor blade from a piece of wire or is it something you can buy it's really a tidy way of trimming the deer hair.

Thank you very much! The tool is useful but not necessary, you can use just a blade.
Absolutely Outstanding! 🤠
Thanks.
Amazing that you were able to spin that deer hair on top of that body braid. Great fly!!
Many thanks for your prompt response to my question. Thanks again. John
It is no surprise that you are considered the best tyer around.
You'r too kind Sid.
I'll second that...... Seen many very good tiers.....but none who tie, narrative, and are as quick and efficient. 😃

Hi Shane, thanks. The razor blade holder is from Sonfo available at any Veniard stockist, comes with 10 blades.
nice
Great tutorial! Do you sell your flies? I would be interested in multiple designs I've seen you tie. Keep up these awesome videos.
Thanks HS, don't really sell them, but if you are at a show I am attending you can have some.
Is the razor blade holder home made. Or can you buy one. Brill video . Many thanks
