In NL why do you drive up to fileld edge before lifting the plough I the UK we would lift plough 6m earlier and turn without reversing GPS steering is great on that tractor very accurate
All these technological advances us very helpful, but losing what is gained over time experience. this way everyone can learn to plow for five minutes I took a lot more time to learn to plow and make it look something I like to see and the Technological achievements to help us but we forget true value

haha. I plow faster than that, usually 6-7 mph, but we use coulters on our plow so it does a lot nicer job. I don't like seeing any furrows when I'm done, it looks like the field was harrowed.
The full stop when turning did not look very elegant. Ideally you should turn away from what you have plow while lifting up in one continuous motion to close off the "ends" of what you have plowed.
I learnt to do the opposite: turn into your ploughing. it makes headland turns far much easier both to get lined up and not worrying about your plough hitting the fence or hedgerow as it turns over. As for 'closing off the ends', whats the point? it all gets turned over on the headland run anyway.

idk about these newer tractors but in older jd models taping the brakes was the only way to disable differential lock, hence the brake lights
