In NL why do you drive up to fileld edge before lifting the plough I the UK we would lift plough 6m earlier and turn without reversing GPS steering is great on that tractor very accurate

Really great tractor smooth modern and powerful. The A mericans make much better Farm Tractors then they do heavy Trucks. Those are really old fashioned compared to the technology in this machine. Go JD!

You still have to have the skill to set the plow, and to know when to make adjustments, what to adjust, and how much to adjust it. No technology will ever be able to do what a skilled operator can do

Ze hebben hun eigen draaipunt, zelfs met een smeer nippel. Mischien omdat het zichzelf dan niet kapot scheurt door al de trilling.

Great tractor and plough! Except for the flimsy mudguards, -which won't last long!
Yes, they are called MUDGUARDS, chaps. Boats have FENDERS -to stop the paintwork on the sides getting scratched and dented during mooring.

The GPS steering correcting so much makes the fender movement much worse but they look bad moving so much in NL why do you drive right up yo field edge

Those front mudguards are bloody annoying flapping about, i'd be reinforcing the brackets if it was mine.

is dit al een van de nieuwste 7r series van jd? want ze hebben de 7r serie opnieuw moeten maken met andere motoren ed met want de nieuwe zijn met adblue
Dit is Gen1 van de 7R. Ze hebben helemaal niets opnieuw moeten maken ze komen nu gewoon uit met aanpassing voor de nieuwe emissie regels. ALLE John Deere's behalve de 7310R zijn ZONDER AdBlue voor heel Europa.

idk about these newer tractors but in older jd models taping the brakes was the only way to disable differential lock, hence the brake lights

A plough is actually pretty difficult to set up on GPS
So how do you do it for pass to pass operation? I tried for a brief period then just started using OL every time I started a new pass. It worked but I know there’s a better way. John Deere 2600 display

Amazing video and great machnies, but to my mind he's driving too fast.
haha. I plow faster than that, usually 6-7 mph, but we use coulters on our plow so it does a lot nicer job. I don't like seeing any furrows when I'm done, it looks like the field was harrowed.

Is a good idea but the mould plough is too much heavy than the tractor there for can interfere with hydraulic system of the tractor
It is lifting it and it isn't picking up the front, so no, not too heavy.

The full stop when turning did not look very elegant. Ideally you should turn away from what you have plow while lifting up in one continuous motion to close off the "ends" of what you have plowed.
I learnt to do the opposite: turn into your ploughing. it makes headland turns far much easier both to get lined up and not worrying about your plough hitting the fence or hedgerow as it turns over. As for 'closing off the ends', whats the point? it all gets turned over on the headland run anyway.
