Disinvite the pregnant sister from the wedding. This is just jealousy, plain and simple. She's being a brat. The wedding is about Op, not her sister's baby. What is she supposed to do, postpone her wedding indefinitely until the kid graduates college? NTA.
I mean it logically makes no sense to not have a wedding in the first trimester as a favour for her, but then moving it too THE 8TH month, which is notoriously known as one of the hardest months.
Story 1: That was intentional. Her being traumatized doesn't give her a cop out. If anything, the fact she went straight to the authorities over the parents first (and she's been in the system and knows how that goes), she did that on purpose. Maliciously and jealousy to 2 degrees of Adopted child syndrome and her crush not liking her and refusing to handle it properly. The school is no better. Who calls the cops that fast before or along the parents?? They checked the bags before the police were to be reported anyway, so they jumped to conclusions. 2 kids need therapy, and the school sued. Story 2: Disinvite from the wedding, then go NC with the sister and the parents who enabled her. It's OP and her husband's day, NOT the sister's world that revolves around her. If it was such a 'issue'she could've just been a guest or stayed home if it was "too much" for her at 8 months pregnant. No.
Story 3. I had a BF in HS exactly like this guy. EXACTLY LIKE THIS. A pathological liar. My parents later, 25+ years later, told me the story of the ex bf stopping by their home to chat about his wonderful, amazing life. His amazing job, career, house, car, etc. It was weird since I had not had much contact with the family because I had been living all over the US for work and school. I also thought the visit was strange. My dad starts giggling like a school girl and says... the very next day, dad was at a lumber yard to pick up supplies... and the grunt loading up the trucks was the ex. This was NOT the big fancy job he had been bragging about. 😂

Story 2: are people seriously bitching over a winter wedding because of Christmas? Seriously? If the person getting the invitation can't come then they'll just RSVP no. Simple. I can't believe Reddit bullied her into apologizing for a winter wedding 🙄
Story 1. If I was Op, I'd have Mary removed from my home or at least really considered it. She was malicious. She could have really done some damage. It would be different if she wasn't malicious. Seems like she wanted Ops daughter put in juvy over a boy. She can't use her trauma to hurt people out of spite. She's also very manipulative. The kid knows how to work the system.

Even though a gal is having a normal pregnancy, she can't do anything. The 1st trimester is the worst, this is the worst, that is the worst. Nowadays it seems that dealing with advanced cancer is easier and better than having to deal with pregnancy.

Mandated reports don’t need evidence. Or to investigate. Thats not our job. Mandated reported does include drugs because that is a form of physical abuse and neglect. The school did the right thing. Good student or not. Some of the best students can be using drugs. The child lied and knew what she was doing.

As a mom of 4 who was placed on medical bed rest for 2 of my pregnancies and completely unable to walk in my last trimester yet I still made things work because It's about your family, and supporting THEM. 😂
