Im literally watching this in 2020 just because when i sew this video it reminds me that there is a reason to live. Shawn literally saved my life, like i cant thank anyone more than him. I was diagnoised with anxiety at age 11 and when i turn 13 i really thought on ending it all. But Shawn made so many songs that reached my heart, and when he made in my blood it made me really emotional because i had never in my life felt to connected to a song that way. Im am much better now but not to the point where i am totally cure but with his music i know i can get farther.

It really gets you emotionally!!! He's gone so far, I can't believe how brave he is to go through this career since it's really harsh to be famous at such a young age. What's so unique about him is that he's human. He's just like everyone else. I really don't understand what's happening to people's opinion about him though. Some people stop being his fan because they assume things about him, they stop liking him because of this theory about his sexuality. I think it's outrageous to dislike someone because you think he's gay, especially Shawn Mendes. If you think so too, send: " It is our choices that define us, far more than our sexuality or gender".

When I was 14 I heard the song “Stitches” and had no idea who Shawn Mendes was. I loved the song and that was all I had listened to for months and then I stopped. Two years ago I heard “There’s Nothing Holding Me Back” and it honestly surprised me when I found out that it was Shawn. I immediately fell back in love with his music and haven’t stopped. I’ve listened to every song he’s very written and every song he’s every sung since the first time he started. His songs have pushed me through times of depression and times of stress when I didn’t think I could take anymore. The fans were so amazing because of how much they supported him and I realized that the Mendes Army is not like any other fan base and I WANTED to be a part of it. I officially committed myself to being a part of the Mendes Army on my birthday two years ago... May 9, 2016 will forever be a day that has changed my life. I know Shawn will probably never see this but I’m happy to say that we love you. I’m 16 1/2 and I can relate to you so much. I just wanted to say thank you Shawn for continuing to try even when you thought you’d never get better. Im literally watching this in 2020 just because when i sew this video it reminds me that there is a reason to live. Shawn literally saved my life, like i cant thank anyone more than him. I was diagnoised with anxiety at age 11 and when i turn 13 i really thought on ending it all. But Shawn made so many songs that reached my heart, and when he made in my blood it made me really emotional because i had never in my life felt to connected to a song that way. Im am much better now but not to the point where i am totally cure but with his music i know i can get farther.

I remember when he was just a boy covering songs on youtube and it was like me and shawn grew up together and now we are both 20. Look at this guy!! It really gets you emotionally!!! He's gone so far, I can't believe how brave he is to go through this career since it's really harsh to be famous at such a young age. What's so unique about him is that he's human. He's just like everyone else. I really don't understand what's happening to people's opinion about him though. Some people stop being his fan because they assume things about him, they stop liking him because of this theory about his sexuality. I think it's outrageous to dislike someone because you think he's gay, especially Shawn Mendes. If you think so too, send: " It is our choices that define us, far more than our sexuality or gender".
I doubt people dislike him because of rumors about his sexuality... it's probably either his voice or that he says he's a "nice guy" wayyyy too often. I love Shawn, but there's some truth to be found there

When I was 14 I heard the song “Stitches” and had no idea who Shawn Mendes was. I loved the song and that was all I had listened to for months and then I stopped. Two years ago I heard “There’s Nothing Holding Me Back” and it honestly surprised me when I found out that it was Shawn. I immediately fell back in love with his music and haven’t stopped. I’ve listened to every song he’s very written and every song he’s every sung since the first time he started. His songs have pushed me through times of depression and times of stress when I didn’t think I could take anymore. The fans were so amazing because of how much they supported him and I realized that the Mendes Army is not like any other fan base and I WANTED to be a part of it. I officially committed myself to being a part of the Mendes Army on my birthday two years ago... May 9, 2016 will forever be a day that has changed my life. I know Shawn will probably never see this but I’m happy to say that we love you. I’m 16 1/2 and I can relate to you so much. I just wanted to say thank you Shawn for continuing to try even when you thought you’d never get better. Thank you Shawn for writing “Life Of The Party”, the song that officially began your career as an artist. Thank you Shawn for unconditionally loving each and every one of your supporters.
