Cannot thank-you enough for this simple fix. A few things that I found from doing things for 3 days is 1- Use this FIX ONLY.. 2- Take the phone from any case you have it in as it will get in the way of pressing the buttons... Again THANK-YOU SO MUCH
Now all you need to do is sign into your Google account on the phone, if you don't know that information then none of this would be any good to you. After resetting your phone will insist on your signing in with the last Google account/Gmail account used. In this video he signed out of his Gmail account before doing this so we never see the security that most people will run into. Removing that lock will be a lot more work and you will probably be paying someone to do it. It is called an FRP lock. Also if you knew your Google account information already you could have just reset your passcode remotely using Google services.

fyi, if you have Android 11, you'll also need to plug the usb cable after holding power + vol down. then switch to vol up and it boots right to recovery.

thx for the video but HELP! In my s20fe5g it simply doesn't work the volUp+power. Everytime it reboots to the normal screen. I have tried different timmings after the hard reset with volDown+power to press volUp+power bit nothing. Any ideas anyone? I am starting to think that my volUp button is broken
Too bloody bad Samsung changed, now holding vol down/power will reboot it and you can't access the reset menu. Also if you're starting after Google account password change you can't locate/change pin/wipe through your Google account as your phone is logged out....basically bricked phone...

This only worked for me with the phone plugged into my laptop with a USB cable, but when plugged in it worked first time! Thank you!!!
