Such an articulate designer...very sincere, no cliches, speaks in complete sentences. No jargon. And then the home itself is welcoming and warm in spite of being a highrise box. Just love everything!
This doesn’t have to be to my taste or to anybody else’s because the workmanship, the attention to detail, the choices of finishes, the colour palette r absolutely spectacular no matter what your taste is
Yes, superb. You can imagine a star of Hollywood’s golden age having this of their New York home. I could see Fred Astaire or Jean Harlow sipping a cocktail in there. Great job by the architect.
Very chic ! Not too CLUTTERED. I love the gold ceiling. It gives a WOW POP WOW POP. So nice. The intermittent colours make it very interesting THE MATERIALS ARE SO HIGH IN QUALITY AND DESIGN
That kitchen is absolutely gorgeous. The warm wood and slick marble are perfectly paired. Nice to see unpainted kitchen cabinets for a change. Everything’s beautiful.
So I'm back watching this video for the umpteenth time! At first, I thought it's so so. But gosh wow 😍. I wasn't crazy about the kitchen at first but I guess it was my screen or something, it's too stunning! The hanging art...I'm stealing this idea!!
Excellent choice of finishes. No denying the views aren't spectacular either! I have to wonder .. with beautiful fabric on bedroom wall, do you vacuum it periodically and which way to do so is suitable(?) 💭
The designer did a great job and it really looks very well designed and luxury. It will add more money value if they will decide to sell this place. Great investment!
An elegant, articulate, charming and intelligent man telling the story of a spectacular apartment: what's not to like? One small nit: I can understand faux finishes on electrical outlets, but a door painted to look like walnut at this (literal and metaphorical) height?
The gilded ceiling is a fabulous wow factor. The quality of the finishes is stunning. But there is “hotel” styling to the apartment which is disappointing
The kitchen is too woody and busy with massive handles. A more comptempary and flushed kitchen, even in lighter wood without visible handles would have played better against the otherwise, flawless deco.
Of all the millions spent here, once again there are double sinks in the master bath. This is not luxury, because a couple (beyond the honeymoon), want separate bathrooms. They may as well put two toilets next to each other.
Dated, dated, dated...I kept looking when did this video come out? The result is it looks like old, greedy, selfish people live there, in my humble opinion. The details seem a mix match. In July of 2022, the world deserves good art, not walls that look like a drop cloth.

Absolutely agree!

Couldn’t agree more. As a fan of modern art deco myself not all design is as good as others of course but this art deco style is super complex
Truly magnificent! Best contemporary interpretation of Art Deco of any I've seen. True to the spirit while avoiding the obvious.
Thank you very much, very cool video! 💛❤🧡
oh my god.. i literally just looked into alexander doherty website this morning and now this video is uploaded.. wow... a fan of your work mr. doherty
ABSOLUTELY STUNNING... The entirety of this apartment is EPIC!!!
PHENOMENAL DESIGN...With attention to EVERY element of EVERY DETAIL...Just WOW!!!
Absolutely stunning! Very easy to see the quality and details in the apartment...money was obviously no object!😊

We loved everything about it, and second that all!
What an absolute amazing apartment. But the dining room chairs in empire style are simply beautiful.
Beautiful and timeless even though it's contemporary and modern! I would love to take a bath in that bathtub by candlelight!
Incredible! One of the most beautiful apartments I’ve ever seen!
Breathtaking work of art❤

Couldn’t agree more, and that gold leaf ceiling!? 🤩🤩 Maybe we should start a series on how to clean these #designer homes to answer your question! 🧐🧐

@5:38 there has to be a better solution for those table lamp and the cords just hanging like that?
woooow i LOVE this stile
Art on chains ⛓ are you kidding 😍😍!

You can have just a ragget rusty lawn chair in the middle of this apartment and no one would even notice.. with a view like that!
It's simply stunning, that view! You could have an elephant in the main room and nobody would notice!
Wow

Nothing about this condo is Art Deco or gilded. Modern furniture and a few bits of gold. That kitchen screams craftsman.
The gilded ceiling is a fabulous wow factor. The quality of the finishes is stunning. But there is “hotel” styling to the apartment which is disappointing
Not my ‘style’ at all but I loved it nonetheless.
👍👍👍👍
This seems like it is narrated by an actor who was told to sound pretentious, but after this take the director would say it was too much
The kitchen is too woody and busy with massive handles. A more comptempary and flushed kitchen, even in lighter wood without visible handles would have played better against the otherwise, flawless deco.
oh la la
Yup, we had the same reaction walking in haha!
Proof that money and taste do not always coincide
You are handsome sir

I hate faux finishes !
I feel like this space is going to look dated very quickly....
I see nothing that will look even remotely dated in the besuited apartment, other than perhaps the gold leafed ceiling (which I do not like).
IT IS dated, that’s the whole point of it
I Hate faux finishes.
waste of money for outdated style, lol, looks like forced 80-90s style into modern contemporary thing.
