#6: As sentence is phrased, answer C also valid.
#9: "were walking" might be a better choice. See sentence #17.
#15: "were studying" might be a better choice. See sentence #17.
#16: "novels" misspelled.
#27: Answer D also, simple past.
#28: All answers are grammatically and logically correct.
#31: Answer C is incorrect. Answer B is correct.
Also, Brown University is a proper noun, and must be capitalized
#32: Answer A would be the preferred choice.
#38: The pronoun "I" is always capitalized"
#39: Answer A asks if it is possible to help.
Answer C asks if they will agree to help. So, either answer.
#25: I believe you meant to say,
