Since when do Pedestrians have any Right of Way Rights on Roads in Thailand?
pedestrian crossings they do have r o w
walkers beware when crossing in thailand.cross walks mean nothing here
@@tommydee4550 Not so in the Capitol!....
I've been in the zebra crossing many times and almost got bowled over by drivers who were in a hurry to turn onto the Sukhumvit, and or Red Light Zebra crossings as well my motorbikes and drivers running the stop light!
@@tommydee4550 BS!!!!!
Organ donation is the most selfless act 🙏
It’s beautiful for the loved ones left behind ❤
@Xylophone8 The only problem would be if some ambitious doctor was looking for a liver, he might decide: This one will not make it. Switch off the machine, and we'll have his liver.
@ No there are set protocols, don’t be ridiculous! And stop spreading nonsense.
@Xylophone8 We are discussing Thailand here. What is nonesense to us is not nonesense to them.
I've looked it up.
A liver transplant in Thailand costs between $60.000, and $120.000.
I repeat: some ambitious doctor could think: I want a new Mercedes.
This tattooed old tourist looks as if he's lived long enough. Switch off the life support. We will have his liver. ☺️

@ Please, you are over reacting.. think you watch too much television..
Sadly, pedestrians are moving targets in Pattaya, crosswalks or not!
In many places ..
@nixonbd53 That's why a pedestrian should keep moving, with a bit of Muhammad Ali footwork. ☺️
Police need to enforce traffic laws. Im recovering from having Chinese tourists run a red light, and nothing happened to him. Luckily, i have insurance.
Those scammers are very rude also.they need dealing with swiftly
Can't believe they've got away with it for so long.
Thailand has the road laws in place but lack police interested enough to enforce them.
Jomtien second road is like a racetrack every night can hear bikes racing when I’m in bed, sounds like Buriam racetrack 😢
Young Arabs racing up and down jomtien Rd at 4am.
@
Sounds about right
I hear it all the time
@ThailandSights used to go down jomtien beach with some soi 3 bargirls after the bars closed. From 3am onwards, the young Arabs used the road as a drag strip-the little 125cc's without baffles.
So its only young arabs? No drunken white Europeans. @@pandemicoftheunvaccinated5367
Police in Pattaya must out stop to loud and dangerous motorcycles. Serious problem.
Wish it was that easy but it is Not. What is your solution that is feasible and reasonable? I fully agree with you but the Rental shop is Not required to verify the license, sell additional insurance or provide a helmet which is required by law.
Doesn’t make any sence 😂
It's not the bike..it's the idiot on it..
@@jbranche8024 then the law should be changed
In PraTumNak where you hardly see any police , same problem every mornin and evening , high speed bikes and sometimes cars .
Pray every time nobody gets hurt.
@Spock105 I don't know why, but in Thailand your Life is worth a lot less than countries like the US. As the problem is spread throughout the city there is no one area to focus on. It seems like either a bunch of people need to demand the Police take action or someone important has to request action.
My area it is a few foreigners who think a loud exhaust makes their Child's Toy "Scooter" a Ducati or Harley. If they only knew others think they are stupid, not cool, and wasted money for no benefit
Thanks.
See big bikes tearing around Pattaya / Jomtien just about every time I visit! No helmets or even a decent heavy jacket being worn! No one cares?
We wear flip flops 🩴 don’t forget about that 😂
The day the city decided to put pedestrian crossings in Pattaya if was never a question of when someone would be killed but how many … motorbikes would never have any idea what a pedestrian crossing is meant to do ….try walking out in Pattaya you have to dodge many motorbikes on the walkways expecting you to get out of the way
Great info again, fires are everywhere at the moment but I think less than last year up are way .
Right of way? No such thing in Thailand! Only if there is an officer standing close... As in Soi9 and Beach road in front of Pattaya Police Station scooter shake down point. They will stop traffic and allow pedestrians to cross. (While looking for next Farang to pull over)
Let the lazy ASEAN provide the funding.
I am a registered donor in my USA state, so check my papers if I pass while in Thailand, just in case a donation will improve another's life.
👍👍👍👍
Police must clamp down on these speeding motorcycles,
Usually farang riders on powerful bikes speeding in built up areas,
Its quite bad in pratumnak hill soi4 and 5
No one is talking about the Thai police arrested for kidnapping
👍👏🏻❤️🙏😎
How do we get a donor card?
Isn't it part of the drivers license?
@@cjinasia9266Not in Thailand! I believe you have to get one from the Thai Red Cross!
@cjinasia9266 maybe, but I don't have DL to check.

If an international rescue committee is solely funded by the USA then why isn’t it called the “United States of America rescue agency?”
There must be numerous set ups like this that the US funds. The cost must be astronomical. And there're homeless in the US and millions unable to access health care.
I have a novel idea. Thailand should fund it.
It is a neighbouring country that needs help.
Americas national debt only gets worse day by day
Thailand has no major national debt
Yanks only like to add their name to things they don’t actually own, that includes the decades of meddling in the region that has contributed to the situation there. It’s unfortunate the removal of funding didn’t include all the Americans with it.
How can you get lost on an island the size of a postage stamp? Try the north where rescue told me they couldnt come to get me cos i was too deep in country!
Why do we rarely get a News on Fridays?

Do you gain or lose face when you tell everyone that the gold that was stolen was fake ?
I see so many ignorant tourists on cross walks not even looking at traffic. Yeah I get it your are suppose to let people pass on the cross walk but you still have to assume that’s not going to happen. Otherwise you’re just a moving target waiting to be hit eventually. It’s called street smarts.
correct . Both sides problem . Indian tourist just cross , prob because they also have little or no cross walks in their country . Russians often also do not care or do not wait for a green light . And police also do not care . It's a common problem. For people who follow normal rules in their life , it is pure hell.
It’s up to ourselves to pay attention to traffic.
Seem like the bosses at the top shut the charity down abit quick to keep what's left in the money pot for themselves
It's OK. Other countries should be able to step up and fill in the gap. I'm sure that Britain, Germany, France, Italy etc. can all chip in to help these poor people.
There is “no such thing” as pedestrian crossing in thailand. Discraceful!
Cut the fat no more money!
Was the Killer Rider 350 pounds and wearing a singlet , bathing shorts , and flip flops OR did he look out of the Ordinary for Pattaya ?
Today in Pattaya it is Hot
Typical Russian.😢
About that "fake gold": Maybe the police should hire some Indian actors wearing fake gold chains with GPS trackers to catch the usual thiefs? (in cases where there is an acutal theft)

crosswalks in thailand dont exist
Crosswalks exist only "Virtually", and not real in Thailand, because there are so many injuries and sometimes death in those supposedly pedestrian crossings..
@ i know very well all . There is no rules in driving there no place for people to walk is shit.
