Ok, just finished the deep dive on Twitch. You still have so much to enjoy from them! If I can choose the top videos to react to, definitely their latest singles TGIF and New Dance, but also all the showcases I mentioned in my other comment. XG Tape showcases the rappers, XG VOX showcases their vocalists, and XG Move showcases their dance ability. Although members are main rapper/vocal/dancer, they are all versatile and can switch roles, you’ll find out. Honestly Cocona, for me, she gives me Yoon Mirae vibes if you remember her from Uptown days. Cocona doesn’t just sing, she can sang sang. The main choreography team for them are Sienna Lalau and Kiel Tutin, with Renan (a Korean choreographer) as choreo director. There are a many who contributed to writing/producing the songs from Korea, Japan, and the US , including the girls themselves, but a couple notable names you may know are: Chancellor, who is an artist himself and has produced many hits for other KPop artists. He recently sang Lately with Kim Johan and Jay Park and it was amazing. Chancellor was one of the producers for Left-Right and is the person saying the Round and Round adlib in the song lol. And Simon aka Jakops, who founded XG and is their main producer. He is a former idol from the group Dalmatian aka DMTN. If you end up reacting to their documentary series (I really hope you do!) you’ll get a lot of background on him as well. Sorry for the long comments but I’m really excited that you’ve discovered them now. I’ve seen your other reactions for other groups and now I’ll look forward to these XG reactions. I appreciate what you said about wishing other girl groups showcasing members abilities more like they do with XG. All idols work hard and it’s awesome to see them highlighted in this way. I do think to some degree that YG took some inspiration with how they introduced Baby Monster. You’ll see. 😊
