- Pop legend #Lulu talks to Gold's David Andrews about working with #DavidBowie back in the 1970s, including 'The Man Who Sold the World' and other lost songs.
I heard that Lulu walked into a pub in Glasgow and heard the great Alex Harvey singing 'Shout', so she recorded it and became a big star. Great story, hope it's true.
She's great. I like her.
I hope Lulu continues to be 'discoverd' by younger folk. Her and Dusty were classy and will always stand the test of time.
If "Me The Peaceful Heart" or "To Sir With Love" suddenly started getting played on the radio again, people who weren't aware of her would get curious. Classic Hits in their day.
Her 1981 Album is awesome
She was a physical specimen. Bowie was understandably keen.
Next.
That first song she sang was on the YOUNG AMERICANS album how did she not know that???
I assume she means any demos of those tracks she might have done, not the actual finished tracks on Young Americans.
Heya I'm Alain Luan
if only she had made the lp of Bowie songs that were originally envisaged
it would have sat between Diamond dogs and young Americans . Would have given her the profile she deserves .shame
O my o my why have plastic surgery you looked so beautiful before
Ageism is the cause. Superficial “society “.
