Deep Breaths helped me during my grief. I lost my brother, and nothing made me cry and heal as much as that particular piece. Today, after almost a year later after my brothers death, I find this piece connecting me to the memories of him. The good and bad days as fatherless children, but also those filled with love and joy. The times he hugged me, not with his arms, but his words of encouragement. Oh, how I miss him. I miss my dear brother… so much. Thank you, Austin. My healing journey has your name engraved in my soul. 🙏🏽

The melody carries emotions, calmly but passionately portraying a story of, what I presume, is two people drifting out of each other's lives. To me it invokes a feeling of melancholy, and a longing desire to change the past, even if it's hopelessly set in stone. What a powerful yet sorrowful piece.
You should have added a deep breath at the start to give it that development of feeling away and drifting aimlessly. All in all beautifully done work of art.
