When they call for the destruction of the only Jewish state it turns from criticism to Antisemitism. And by the way: from the river to the sea means from the Jordan river to the Mediterrainian (most woke mobs dint seem to know this) .
I must say, I'm quite impressed with CNBC's reasonably balanced coverage of this debacle. Every segment includes arguments from both sides.
Glad to see Ackman getting severely 'red-pilled' over the blatant racial hatred being pushed by the Corporate Progressive Bureaucracy. Maybe it's time for ALL RACISM to end and this includes the open blatant racism towards Conservative Heterosexual White Males that has been going on for decades now right under our noses.

I've watched many of Bill's interviews. I've never heard he take so long to answer a question or have so much nervousness in his voice.

To be more verbose, all I remarked is that as someone invovled in academia, most professors and postgrads do not bother checking the references in your thesis and will not find plagiarism or whatever else Ackman's wife has done on that level. That's what OPs comment is about, after all.

As he explained in the interview, he called for Gay's resignation due to her comments about Jews, not due to plagiarism. In the interview, he does admit that when the board would not follow through and listen he just wanted to convince them based on anything.

His defense of his wife is a joke. Plagiarism is a form of intellectual theft. It has nothing to do with intention or fraud. If I steel beer from the grocery store and get busted, I go to jail. Saying I forgot to pay is not a defense. The same principle applies here.
I hope this is a beginning on recruiting professors who teach to think not spitting out memorized information. Such instructional staffs surely help young minds to embrace and respect diversity instead of blindly following so called leaders.

Bill Ackman has an incredible record. He is as close to what you thought a money manager was when you were ten and naive as you will ever find. He is the real deal. Not all of his calls have been right. But the harder ones, the macro calls have been jaw dropping. I think in Macro, and I know how I come to my conclusions. He, well, I just have no idea how he does it.

Of course it is lawsuit territory. Like he said, it is considered a form of fraud. From Cornell Law:
"To prove prima facie defamation, a plaintiff must show four things: 1) a false statement purporting to be fact; 2) publication or communication of that statement to a third person; 3) fault amounting to at least negligence; and 4) damages, or some harm caused to the reputation of the person or entity who is the subject of the statement."
If those four things are shown to be true, then the entity in question can and should be convicted of demafation in a court of law. Bill Ackman obviously believes that the actions of his wife cannot be described as plagiarism, so that is point 1. Point 2 is obvious. As for point 3, Ackman believes (and it is beyond obvious that) the whole thing was a hit piece on him, which is beyond negligence. It is also concievable to prove negligence based on that Ackman disputed the plagiarism claims and it was published anyways. And point 4 is also demonstrably true - just observe the former Harvard president as to the harm plagiarism accusations cause.
Jewish people are the number one benefactor of DEI. They don't just have to call it a name. It just comes with being a jew.

Although not said overtly, Bill Ackman's implicit support for Donald Trump necessitates a question about Trump's NATO position (ie Trump's desire for the US withdrawal from NATO), the impact this would have across markets and how a withdrawal from NATO may precipitate a shift in the global order affecting medium and long term growth and security. It would be delightful to hear Ackman struggle to come up with a cogent reply to such a simple question.
Trump isn’t going to withdraw from NATO he just wants Europe to invest in their own military properly. The Ukraine war has shown how vulnerable Europe is it’s crazy how badly prepared they are.

FIrst Mr. Ackman accuses Israel's detractors of saying Israel was responsible for the Oct. 8 terrorist onslaught, then a second later, changes the accusation to the Israel detractors saying Israel was "solely" responsible for the attack. That's a very big substantive difference; why did he find it necessary to add the word "solely" to modify his original claim. Did he suddenly remember that these detractors had used the word "solely"?
Also, why should Mr. Ackman's father's operation O(and subsequent death) have bearing on this? Either antisemitism was a problem before this medical situation or it wasn't. I happen to believe it was, but the issue is that since that was the case, what was Mr. Ackman's reason or excuse to turn a blind eye to it before his father's medical crisis. In other words, being told by a dying parent "go fight antisemitism" doesn't give any more credibility to this campaign, because more likely than not, both the dying request and the acquiescence to it are merely guilt-driven, trying to alleviate a guilty conscience related to other matters. Fighting antisemitism as a way to feel better about oneself and other areas of one's life discredits one's agenda.
