I’m also a first generation Mexican American. And listening to these stories always reminds of my parents journey and how long they’ve come. I’m very blessed to still have them with me on my journey. Your mom and anyones parents whose come from a different country trying to better themselves and for their future families have such a strong mindset that’s it’s crazy when you hear them tell their stories and makes you appreciate everything .
