luv this idea...the blue u used was stunning!!! definitely a good & cheaper way to get a room size rug. there isn't such a thing as a cheap room size rug!!!
Plus you can make it any size you need.

Have fun! Take your time and make the size of the rug first before you start stenciling. Also, make sure you're careful with the paint. Drips are not good!

I will have to get the big ass book of home decor I have the two big ass books of crafts and love them this rug craft is something I would love to try.
It's a fun book with lots of great techniques! This rug is still in my house...I love it!
LOVE everything you do. It always amazes me with the ideas you come up with. This rug looks very high end (saw one similar in one of the more expensive catalog stores) and this rug looks just as good if not better because it can be customized and then, of course, the price.
I wanted it to look hand blocked like the Indian rugs you see at world market
