i think the whole iv concept is honestly dumb...i have no good pvp ivs but still be handling business xD

I agree!
For the majority of people, IVs for PvP don't matter. Those extra 2-5% defence/HP are taken down by a charge attack anyways.
But there are the rare moments, where your Pokemon survives with a sliver of HP or can survive quick-attacking an opponent down, and saving the charged attack for the next Pokemon.
