@@jptheinstallguy For removing the panel, I went down to the local store and asked for help finding a panel removal tool. He ended up suggesting these little plastic wedges so it wouldn't damage the panel. I ended up putting the wedges in real good then gently using a flathead to pop it off. The hardest part of any of it ended up being getting one of the harnesses out of the thing, it was really really in there. I was really excited too when everything worked correctly on the first try after I got it all back together. Haha.
I got a 07 Optima with the factory CD player but i want to put a aftermarket one in will the steering wheel controls still work if I switch the radio out or no
