I just saw her at another job with her father. Im happy that even if they got a divorce he gets to communicate with her daughter often. She really loves his father. She is very well behaved and adorable.

Idk about the mother and father appearing on “reality” variety shows all of sudden and have this “I’m this kind of parent to my child” like they’re exploiting their young daughter for the sake of salvaging whatever their images after their divorce. The father and the paternal grandmother are appearing on a show with all these cued scenes showing his “struggles” being hated after the divorce. There are episodes where it feels like it is edited to seek redemption from the audience. Idk but there’s something off with him, his mother, and this ex-wife, as a whole, on these shows. 🤷🏻♀️
The way u perceived it merely exposes your mindset n lack of empathy in ur heart. I watched that variety show too n the way that little girl cried n yearned for her father's love showed how organic it was. Not necessarily the show but the relationship between father n daughter. Adults can pretend but children can't. "The kind of parent he is to his child" is between them n not for us to be meddlesome. I can tell his daughter loves him v much when she said things like, "I wished we lived together" and "I hate nothing more in the world than for you to be sick". There is also nothing wrong with them wanting to improve their reputations n display their struggles. They divorced not commited murder. It's their family's business.
Well, you're right technically but as dong gun stated during his initial interview in my ugly duckling, he said that bec of his tight(?) schedule he sees his daughter only once in a week, during weekend. And sometimes, when he's drunk the night before his dayoff he has missed some days too. As a father to my daughter i should really have to cut down the alcohol esp when i need to meet and have wonderful day with my daughter. Is it hard to accomplish? I don't think so if you have the right mindset.

Before spouting nonsense, please know that she actually don't gate keep her child from her dad.. she's okay with 3-4 times a week visitation or even letting her daughter travel with her father

From MY understanding the court dicted that Roa HAD to spend the weekend every 2 weeks with his dad but he and YoonHee didn't feel comfortable with him spending the night with her (he claimed you know bath and toilet situations) so they made an agreement of having her EVERY week for 1 day so she can go with her mom every night, but now that she is bigger the mom allowed trip to Jeju (i believe i heard a week vacation in Jeju), regarding him being hangover i didn't remember them touching that situation, But I do think the dad is alcoholic
From what I remember from Mom's Diary, he mentioned that he make sure he doesn't do anything on Saturdays so he has the energy to spend Sundays with Roa

She has custody but I think Lee Donggun visits weekly and provides child support. Sometimes it works better that way when the child is very young.
