I didn't know Bireli also spoke German. French, English, German, Jazz, what else? These guys were obviously having fun. Awesome playing on this record, and pretty complex stuff! Sometimes prog-like.
@SteefStevens there was a 3rd album I made with Bireli, its called "Acoustic Moments", that was the one before "My Favorite Django". I even dont have a copy myself. But one of the best albums I ever made is "Kitty Winter - The Gipsy Album" from 1998. Featuring Joe Zawinul, Bireli and Tony Lakatos. I will soon post tracks from that album on youtube. Best - Kuno -
i listen to this cd at work everyday for the last 3 years i swear. sounds like the guitar solos on this video are alternate takes. how can i get the cd with additional solos by bireli. they sound more subdeud to me. i must have the other takes of the solos. i will pay dearly for them
