it's because if the battery doesn't work, then the camera is broken because without battery you can't use the camera. But I totally agree that is a strange question, because for me when the battery is dead it's because you have to charge it, but not necessarily the camera's broken

She said no kidding means that she totally agree with the man statement about the view.
Its kinda like “the view its no joke (beautiful)” “yes no kidding (totally agree with you)
