@@alonzoakbar6760 Thanks for the reply. Looking forward to buying one. I was looking for Dji but they are very pricey and most of them don't have the follow me mode. Is all the modes working as described? Have a good one 👍
@@realdealreviews733 But I was looking for a drone that has a follow me option. That's why the HS looks cool to me. I know there is DJI drones on a lower budget as well but I just don't see them interesting unless i purchase the over 1000€ one. Thanks for the advice though.

I bought this drone about 2 years ago and rarely fly. Almost one and half year later I was trying to fly this weekend and try to calibrate gyro calibration. But my remote controller keep beeping and not connecting with drone. Can you please give helpful tip to connect, so I can enjoy my drone. Thanks.
James- as you predicted, I crashed my brand new hs720e, which now has two broken arms on the left side. I have gone through the startup procedure and the circuitry seems to be undamaged. I see that replacements are available, but I have not found someone who does the work. I don't have the equipment or skills to do it myself - any connections or info? I am on the southwest coast of Washington state.
Can I ask, if you push down on the left joystick , it don't cut out the motors does it? I had a drone that cut out every time I pushed it all the way down when I was coming into land (might have been a DJI) - Also return to home, is that automatically set when you do all the set up (calibration?)?
Hey, when you push down on the left joystick, the drone will land slowly, and the motor stop. RTH only works when the drone is under GPS mode and has a good GPS signal. It is default set after calibration.
On the transmitter, what does that second grey dial/knob on the left side do? The right one controls the camera angle but the left one is difficult to move and I don't know what it controls.
Yes, a drone pilot certificate is needed to fly this HS720E drone which weighs 495 grams. Please check this website for more details: tc.canada.ca/en/aviation/drone-safety/drone-pilot-licensing/getting-drone-pilot-certificate
I just got this as a Christmas present and am excited about it. I got it to fly yesterday but today when I took it out after pressing the one key takeoff, it lifted up and took off flying all over the place. It ended up hitting some trees and cracking the frame and denting some of the blades. I started pressing the lock motor button but it wouldn't respond, it just kept on flying and climbing. It finally came to a point where it hovered and then just descended to the ground, about 50 yards away from where it started. I left and went to another location and got it flying again and it seems to be fine. I'm concerned if I need to check for any areas that could have been damaged. Is there anything I need to check for? I've been unable to connect to the wi-fi with my phone, not sure if that was already an issue I had or if it came from the drone crashing. I like this drone but am mad that I cracked it on my 2nd day :(
@@whunt29708 when you use the app under where it allows to calibrate the compass, it has a button to calibrate the gyro. It should be in the manual somewhere but I don't have it on me right now to look. As far as I know, the only way to calibrate the gyro is via the app.
I noticed after the Ophelia app update the drone won't respond after 50 meters. And if within the 50 meters it's sluggish to respond. Using the joystick controller only it's back to normal and responds fine. Any thoughts?

thanks for the video, super helpful. I tried mine today for the first time and when they battery was 1/2 empty/full, i couldn't control the drone any more. I would still go up and down but not do anything else... normal? thanks!
Mode 2 is the default when you turn on the controller. If you have changed it to mode 1, you can check the manual to get back to mode 2. After you get back to mode 2, it will be mode 2 after you turn on the controller next time.
After having the drone for a month without flying it this video had it in the air in 5 mins. Thanks.
Thank you for watching!
Nicely done ✅ Holy Stone. I'm seeing a greatly improved drone over the previous design.

I wonder and I’m to scared to try it with my drone, if you turn off the motors mid flight, can you turn them back on while falling?

Make sure you have both the compass and gyro calibrated. Gyro calibration is in the app.
@@soniclegend44 so gyro calibration is something separate from the calibrations they mentioned in the manual?

Try recalibrate the gyro through the app, do it on a completely level surface tho.
If the recalibration doesn't work, carefully check your propellers for warpage or damage.

How to get mode 2?
Mode 2 is the default when you turn on the controller. If you have changed it to mode 1, you can check the manual to get back to mode 2. After you get back to mode 2, it will be mode 2 after you turn on the controller next time.
