i love the way the a starts. get the biggest kick out of it when the engine seems to quit turning over while starting and out of nowhere it starts running. when i was 16 and all my friends wanted porches and trans ams all i wanted was a model a. finally got one at 54.
Yeah he was different, he used his brain. Most all of his ways of doing business and thinking still apply today. Don't get me wrong a few things were off the wall but it was a different time back then. Read his book. My life and work. I was amazed at how much he predicted what would happen in the future
As particular, and concise as you are about everything, I'm surprised by the way you spelled model in your description. Good video nonetheless. Keep up the good work. Thanks!
Id make me a hot rod outa that no disrespect to the purest I’m just not into old wooden wheel and driving 30 mph I guess it’s a little to good to chop up but if it was rougher that would be setting on a new frame it would make a awesome hot rod trough but I’m sure you are gonna keepmariginal
Actually there's thousands of restored Model A's out there, not at all rare, so value is pretty relative. They're worth much more when built as nice street/hot rods. Sorry purists! But then it all comes down to what the owner wants. This is a pretty decent old girl, great for a reasonable 'rebuild' for a fun neighborhood banger..
Darn I was hoping the motor was gone and the frame was bad shape so you s10 frame it or something and v8 it LOL but it does run amazingly well for being that old I wonder if the motor has been rebuilt at one time
Glad your keeping it stock 👍🏻

Yeah, I've always found them fascinating! I like street rods too but like an original just as much! It's like being transported in time!
The Dodge Brothers Design has withstood the test of Time. Great vehicle.
Definitely want to see more on this model a
For sure! Thanks
Really great video. It was interesting and I learned alot. Thank you
Thanks for watching, glad it's being enjoyed!
Replace that two blade fan with an aluminum one. They are prone to fail from stress cracks and cause damage or bodily harm.
Don't need that, thanks!
Do NOT jump start with 12 volt battery - HIGH RISK of EXPLODING the 6 volt Battery -

Estos vehiculos estaban construidos para durar mas que los dueños
Aaaaaaay start up
They always do! It's amazing!
I see you also have a 1969 Camaro on the other side of your garage. You have some nice toys.
Thanks, not all mine but glad to have them in the garage!
Next time, try running a temporary fuel source like from a land mower right to the carburetor.
I just watched a documentary on Henry Ford... He was a different guy
I want a model a or model t someday.
He was a visionary! Love a model a in just about any build too!

Man would I love to have that in my garage
Great video....reminds me when I did mine, GOOD LUCK with the car, i'm sure it will turn out well
Cool vid!
The points are on the primary side so I don't think they'll shock you
That gas tank is in better shape thamost old cars and trucks in the 90s
Great project I love these Model A's hope it gets restored not turned into a hot rod
This is going to be a nice car to watch you work on
Thanks for watching!
Have you posted a follow-up video? It's been a year and a half - you have GOT to have done more since this one :)
ua-cam.com/video/TAw-qnIsObY/v-deo.html There's this one getting it running.
That thig is a good one the ford lives awesome thats a strange place for a gas tank 🔴🇺🇸🔧👍
That's how they did them back then! Gravity feed to the carburetor!
As particular, and concise as you are about everything, I'm surprised by the way you spelled model in your description. Good video nonetheless. Keep up the good work. Thanks!
Fixed, Thanks for the heads up! Spelling was never my strong point.
That's a tidy body, it's nice to find them like that. The grille shell is 31, 30 is smooth stainless without the the black recesses.
Yeah, I think he has both grills. Just liked the 31 better. Thanks
You Really wanted a 33/34 Dodge or Plymouth Coupe, come on , admit it !
I'd take one!
Great video, answered all the questions I’ve been searching for on getting my Model A running.
Thanks, have fun with it!

Jeff Leblanc v
Model a top speed is around 80 mph cruising speed around 45-55 mph
Please do not sell it to some one to cut and chop up and destroy
No plans to! I like custom model A's also but love an original. I just like hearing it run.
Cool car. I am right in the middle of restoring a 29 Model A coupe for my sister!
well aren't you something
Nice, have fun with it!
We need more people like you to resurrect cars
Ha Ha I need more storage space! Thanks
Glad to see this brought back...
Thanks, me too!
En mi infancia, ayude a mi padre a reconstruir dos Fords A, todos resucitaron sin novedad.
They are worth money when restored I hope you restore it
They are neat! I kinda like it in its rough look!

My dad has a 29 rumble seat coupe. Nowhere near as complete as this one. He plans on making a rat rod. The top was chopped long ago.
Very cool!
One thing about Ford's they have everything for those early years brand new too!
i'd love to have a model a with a v8 lol. ah back when car's were simple.
Darn I was hoping the motor was gone and the frame was bad shape so you s10 frame it or something and v8 it LOL but it does run amazingly well for being that old I wonder if the motor has been rebuilt at one time
LOL, it has been rebuilt! There's something about the way these things sound!
Can't wait to see more!
