It’s great to see 2903-9001 light plates still in service today goes to show old mechanical alarms last longer then electronic horns and they get your attention a lot sooner
Interesting system. Last August, I ran into a pair of FA inspectors while on a job site at a maintenance shop, and they were inspecting a Fire-Lite MS9200UDLS. System consisted of BG-12LX’s, a few MT’s, a couple of Exceders, and some strange horns with a single projector mounted on some strange strobe plates.
I've seen that mistake before. It was a button heat in a telecom room. Instead of just throwing an SLC short trouble, it threw the entire loop offline on the single-loop system. We had to drop power to the loop in order to get it back to normal.
theres a hospital in hendersonville,tn that building a and b had a huge simplex system both panels where 4002s the alarms where 9838s on 4901 lightplates but sadly over time majority of them where replaced with truealerts now painted white only 3 9838s remain and one 2902 chime bell on a 4901 light plate panels where replaced with 4100s
What an interesting mix of alarms with a Classic a Advance a Exceeder and a Mt and a4903 - 9101’s and 2903s what an interesting mix my guess is that the classic advance Exceeder MT and 4903-9101 replaced dead 2903’s What’s your guess
There’s a nursing home where I live the old simplex panel a 2001 got replaced the simplex pulls also but the alarms simplex 2903s with 9806s stayed cause they installed a 4005 panel and said that the alarms all still worked an healthy they have no desire to replace them they made a contract with faraday an said if one breaks it’ll be replaced with a 6120

super agreed
@@firealarm2903_ yep
Baaaaaaaaaaa-truealert
Those are 9002s the surface mounted versions
There are a handful of them still active in Central Texas
Those 9838s sound amazing
Its nice to see these are original alarms and not generic new ones

Hmm a mix of Wheelock and vintage simplex, nice!

Bruk Spokane Washington has a handful of old fire alarm systems!

Yeah this pull also dropped the whole loop but it was able to self restore

Tennessee has a lot of simplex so does texas (Tennessee has better simplex lol)
@LoneStarFireAlarms oh I know they do I've seen older alarms from this video in service still today even heard some go off they are loud
@@lorenlorenzen4309 u got discord?
@LoneStarFireAlarms no only Facebook and Snapchat
what was the old panel 4002 or 2001
It was a 4002 as he said in the beginning of video
Spectralert Classics on continuous is rare!
There’s 3 of those left in the hospital in Hendersonville,TN and they still work
4:59 Lol that 2903 thinks it’s a 7002T
That's the panel's sync protocol. Mech. horns dont support it, so they just skip.
@@DanTDMJacethe 2903 is using system sensor sync because of the notifier panel and/or sync modules
ABOUT THE MINECRAFT RESOURCE PACK THAT ADDS FIRE ALARMS............ Can you please post it like you said you would?
That is quite the mix!
Why is there Wheelock Exceeders when I didn’t hear any?
probably he didnt record the areas where the wheelock exceeder was.
why are some of the alarms sort of skipping?
Its a sync module
@@bruh3120 don't see how that would affect anything

It was weird how the nbg-12lx @ 4:27 went green instead of red when you pulled it down
It’s on walk test
@@FourtyFiftyEighty oh ok
Quite an interesting system!
5:08 was it dying or something what was going on here?😂
In this description for the second system you forgot to add a system sensor Spectralert advance P2r in the description. I just wanted to let you know.
Can I borrow a 2903?
Yes
Awesome!

Silent knight is bad. System needs to be replaced with a Simplex 4100ES.
No it doesn’t.
Silent knight works just fine like Simplex
@@STR2K6 silent knight is a Honeywell brand which simplex are by Johnson controls
