This happens every disaster!.....and $300 or even $200 for a 2 cubic yard van load is way, way too expensive!.....Your averages debris hauler moves 40 , 60, even 100 cubic yards a run and gets paid roughly 7 to 9 dollars a cy!....... This so called program is nonsense!
Make the people wait while the debris is laying in the street. Why are my Florida taxes going towards private homes to get rid of their flooded stuff? Why are we paying for this?
Each property owner should be responsible to dispose of their own debris and trash and not be allowed to just dump it alongside the road. What if everybody in the country just dumped their trash alongside the road
At least some people got the debris picked up. Most of Volusia county, which wasn't hit as hard, still has storm trash outside. Mine has been sitting since the day after the storm.
@@lauriehester357 no meaning even if she doesnt get paid i think shell be alright because it looks like she has a lot of gold on... lol... didnt realize it was such a tough sentence tounderstand especially when i ended it with... No dummy, how did you come to that conclusion, my comment was clear. lol hope this helps you understand where you went wrong :) cheers
Thank you for looking into this! People should be paid as promised
Every storm recovery has drama like this

Ah, is THAT why no one has picked up the trash for the past three Wednesdays?
$300 a load? WTF St. Pete? No wonder your city code division is out of control. Y'all need excessive amounts of our money to waste.
Imagine how many people would've tried to falsify the load count to get paid tho.
Wow! $200 a load is pretty good! Probably takes time to sort payment out!
$300/load. The city is paying contractors $300/load. The contractor turns around and pays the workers $200/load.
200 for a narrow van full?????I could see 200 for a dump truck but not a van full,maybe 50.

Usual Suspect
Getting ripped off
I gots to get paid!

Wtf yall got $200 for using regular pickups trucks. What about the guys who actually have dump trailers. That explains why I took so long
At least some people got the debris picked up. Most of Volusia county, which wasn't hit as hard, still has storm trash outside. Mine has been sitting since the day after the storm.
We just got ours picked up last week we are in Volusia County but there is still alot of debris it's alot of tree debris
People should get paid
