All my life (I'm 45) I hated the taste of alcohol (all alcohol) and even just the smell of whiskey turned my stomach! Then one day, I decided to try a shot of Balvenie double wood with a dot of ice and OMG! it was the first time I EVER enjoyed the taste of a tipple. David, you are a pure meistro sir, I raise my glass to you! You saved me from disgusting vodka and mixes!! Thank you!

But my dads got some 30 year old Belvenie and I absolutely adore it. Nose is great, smooth. Got myself a bottle.
