Today we continued cleaning the sidewalk, and fortunately, we had an additional member join us. This area has not been cleaned for over two years, so the grass has grown over the sidewalk and even spread onto the road, which could affect traffic participants. We were determined to clean the sidewalk here to create a safer and more beautiful environment. The patches of grass were quite tough, making it more difficult for us to clean. However, in the end, we completed our task and restored a clean and beautiful sidewalk for the residents here.
Due to the lack of funds and machinery to trim the grass close to the inside, we could only clean the area on the outside. After that, we cleaned up the trash, put it in bags, and brought it to the trash bins. I didn’t put grass and soil in the trash bins to avoid overloading and causing difficulties for the garbage collectors since their job is already very exhausting. I appreciate that you work hard to help support your communities in looking better. I have one small suggestion: pile everything a few feet from the edge of the tiles. After you work so hard I'm sure you want good results. Piling everything further back will make it look cleaner. And if you pile all the green waste together, the residents can burn all of it after it has dried.
