@@MarkHarrison4 Did you explore the Jungle regions. In Santa Cruz its crazy we do Jaguar and Anaconda trips. See them basically every trip. Was lucky to see a Spectacled Bear in Cochabamba too. I am aiming to climb Huyana Potosi soon and your video helped a lot !! The last part looks mental
Cheers Peter, I appreciate it. You're absolutely right it was difficult to not only piece together the whole story, but to actually film while we were up there.. I was light headed the whole time haha
I saw! I'm going to attempt this in a few months - it certainly looks like the kind of trip that people underestimate. Seeing your film has made me a little more wary. If you don't mind me asking - how much training did you do before hand, if any?
Gosh, you guys are the craziest persons. It looks freeking intense and spectacular at the same time. Glad, that you find your way back home safe. Does it feels good to come back home after such a long time of traveling or is it weird? I'm on a trip around the world right now and i'm afraid of coming home one day because you changed yourself so much while making all this incredible experiences and at home nothings changed. I enjoyed every pic and vid from this trip so much. So thanks for taking us with you.
Thanks a lot Petra! Feels really great to be home and see all my family including my 9 nieces and nephews. It's not that weird now because I guess i'm used to it... I've been overseas for 6 years now. Although I totally understand what you are feeling on your trip, it's a tough transition coming back home for sure.
Hi guys, thank for visiting my country Bolivia. Your video is amazing but it could be greatest if you put the music from lodes Andes de Bolivia, I' leave for you some music .
I see this mountain everyday from my window. As an american living in Bolivia, it would be a shame if i never climb this. Im gonna do it this year 2021
Buena nota... El huayna Potosi (El joven Potosi)... es una de las montañas mas visitadas de Bolivia...supera los 6000 metros... y por eso es lindo... acompañado de otras montañas ke superan los 6000 msnm.... grazias x su visita.
Is this route the easiest? How many different routes are there? Lots of info missing incl how bad it has to get before you abandon the climb. Altitude sickness can be deadly not just an inconvenient headache. Looks like with some of those ridges your next fall could be your last. Did you get lucky with the weather?

I went up there a few years back, solo. I lost the route somewhere above high camp and had to turn around. How did you find the route, or was it well tracked in?
Respect guys! I did the Chachani in Peru (6.075m) so I can really relate to the altitude sickness, headaches, breathing difficulties etc. Amazing video! I'm impressed you had the energy to take such good photos and videoes! Well done :)
Great ascent! I have been there some years ago...unfortunately I ate something bad and had to stay in the hut...hopefully I´ll try again. Did you climb Nevado Illimani too? That was so far my highest peak.
amazing video, one question...what time of year is this video?, i wanna take a climb in the same mountain but i don't know when is the best time for doing
Geico Torres thanks a lot!! Well I did it in Late May this year and that’s getting kinda cold for Bolivia. I would avoid July August but anytime other than that you should be fine!
Mark Harrison I'm back home now.. enjoying my sunny Ukraine. Will be back to Nanning in August. Come back big man, we do need a super intense midfielder back to our team :)
Yea man! I was in Chile for 7 weeks prior to Bolivia but I haven't edited any of the videos form there yet... Chile is soooo good! I gotta get on the editing train hard.
Holy heck I neeed to go here !!
Haha yea man! I'd go back
Felicidades...y gracias por Mostrar mi Bolivia !!! 👏🏻👍🏻💪🏻🇧🇴

It's so hard to capture film and endure what you went through. Well done. Loved the pacing and editing - thank you for putting this together.

nah, no training needed. Just need to acclimatize, 10 days in La Paz or similar altitude should do it.... if not, take altitude meds
Roger that. Was in La Paz a long time ago. There are worse places to spend 10 days. Thanks for replying!
@@peterdaviesfilms TRUE! I love La Paz! ANytime pal :)
