Bmf does not have any mark up fee if you load and spend in same currency. Check brazil's local currency and see if that is available in BMF website or app to load.
In Singapore, SGD loading in BMF will work smoothly. In Thailand, better to take USD and then either do transactions in USD or convert them there. I usually prefer having a mix of cash, currency loaded in BMF, and one forex card like NIYO or ICICI

BMF don’t issue forex card to students. I tried, it rejected, also it asks for return journey date if not provided it says “instant loading not available “. If possible please suggest process how to get card for student. Thanks
BMF asks your return tickets as well. It is meant for shorter trips where itinerary is fixed. NIYO is like a credit card. It does not ask for anything.
BMF is free, with good exchange rates. If your need is to make online payments while you are travelling, then it is good card. Please note that to load any currency in BMF card, you need to have valid air tickets and visa docs (if applicable)

Markup fee of 3.5% + 18% GST on markup fee is applicable if you use your forex card for making transactions with a currency which is not loaded on your forex card. For example, I made a purchase of 6.90 EUR at Istanbul airport. However, transaction of 7.18 EUR happened on the card.
