Thats a blessing 😂 I'm sure that some people are just lonely..but I truly don't go on here to specifically listen to a life story in the beginning of a "how to" tutorial. I think it is best of others would keep their personal life to a biography or blog. This presentation was perfect. Thank you!!!
Your tutorials are my favorite. ❤️ I just started crocheting and everything I look up something and I see blue yarn and a yellow background I click your video. They’re short, clear and easy to follow. Thank you for the effort!
These are probably my favorite crochet tutorials for the slow rate of speech/work and the clear instruction!! Helping me learn how to crochet amigurumi, almost done with my first one thanks to these videos!! Maybe I’ll have some in time for Christmas lol
Every year I crochet gifts for family. But it's the only time of year I crochet so I fall out of practice. Every year I keep using your videos to remove myself how to do certain stitches. Thanks for these clear videos. The choice of yarn and your hand position make it really easy to see.
Thanks for doing this. With the Woobles I learned the invisible decrease and have read that the invisible is the best for Amigurumi. For those wondering that see this comment, this one is the “visible” decrease stitch, which some patterns call for (like the one I am doing right now for a bunny, non-Woobles) also written as “sc2tog”. For the *invisible* decrease, which is the best for Amigurumi, look at Justine’s other tutorials or any other one on UA-cam. I don’t know why the writer of the current Amigurumi pattern I’m on has the visible one, but I am going to do the invisible one anyways. The Woobles though are amazing kits for learning and I made my first two Amigurumi animals from the Woobles!
Tysm you’ve helped me so much. Id love to see you do a row of the same stitch for the visual learners if possible (obviously do it how you like, I still love you) just struggling a little with the visuals 💕
I’m so happy 😁 I’m going for the best of the year to get a job in my field but it’s hard not having the money 💰 to do it myself and I don’t know how to do it but I know I can make a lot better and it’s so worth every second and I’m just glad that I’m getting to work on it now
Thank you for this!! For some reason my beginners crochet pack (it's been a few months since I've crocheted and I found a nice little crochet pack) doesn't have any tutorials for his, despite it being in all of the crochet toys!
I was wondering if there was a better way to increase and decrease and I've now realized I've been doing it just BARELY wrong this entire time, but it's been working so I didn't even realize
Hello, I hope you notice my comment. This is a great tutorial! But I've been wondering, why does my decrease look so ugly and bumpy? I don't know how to fix it, I've been doing the same thing as in this tutorial.
I’m no expert but maybe try to see if your looking at your piece from the right side. It should look like a continuas spiral and not an “ice cream cone” I mean down wards stripes . Hope it helps
look up invisible decrease. it’s much better and is used for amigurumis specifically since you only need to see one side of the amigurumi. with the invisible decrease it makes it much more pleasant to the eye but makes the inside (back of the crochet) super ugly.
OK cool...I made a blanket, but I've only ever attempted making something that requires increasing and decreasing once and it didn't turn out right, but my brother got me a Gertrude kit, so I'm looking up videos before I begin so I don't waste anything ^^
What if the yarn I use stretches easily and it leaves more hole than stitch when I do a decrease? Is there a way to stop that from happening? Or is it just best to use different yarn?
For me, I move the first loop down the hook a little so it doesn't stretch while I go through the next stitch. I try not to let it move and stretch a lot
So if a pattern says to (SC, dec) x4 does that mean you do the normal single crochet then a decrease as shown in the video? Or do you do a single crochet then dec 4 stitches at a time?
@@toohottohandle0_0 thank you for your response! I appreciate you clearing that up for me. I was confused when trying to follow a pattern I'm working on. 🙂
It’s to make the product smaller, like when you’re making an animal and working on the body but need to make it smaller going up to the head for example, so it’s making two stitches into one stitch

I really love the size of the hook and yarn she uses here. helps me see lol
Same! It’s like the best size for tutorials :D
It's a size 4.0!
The color was also perf, I also use blue when I started practicing! 🤣

I finally got it!! it took around 2 weeks and like 15 videos but this one really helped me understand!! thank you woobles!
this makes so much more sense than what i came up with in my newbie brain (skipping stitches or slip stitching)

I'm doing decrease x3
Yes because you do 2 in 1 crochet so u "deleted" one crochet stitch from the round.
Thank you! This was a great tutorial, it sounds so hard but is really easy! Amazing!🫶👏
🎉tysm this is the first video i watched of yours and I just subscribed ❤

Is this different from invisible decrease?
I'm somehow working backward inside the shape I don't know how to fix it to not happen again 😅 what can I do to fix it
SUPER helpful! Tysm

Is it the same as a single crochet 2 together???
Does it have to be facing the outer part of it?? 0:06

Did this but did not end up with a smooth decreseing edge on scarf - it looks jagged. What to do??!!
I always forget how a decrease works and come back for reassurance 😂
Do I flip my project inside out first???
So if a pattern says to (SC, dec) x4 does that mean you do the normal single crochet then a decrease as shown in the video? Or do you do a single crochet then dec 4 stitches at a time?
You do 4 sets of (single, decrease like in the video)

OMG CAN U TELL ME WHAT YAEN YOUR USING ITS BEUTIFUL
I think the woobles makes and sells their own brand/type of yarn
I would like to know what the purpose of a decrease stitch is I’m so confused
It’s to make the product smaller, like when you’re making an animal and working on the body but need to make it smaller going up to the head for example, so it’s making two stitches into one stitch
What yarn are you using here xx
what kind and size of yarn is it?
why do u go over the v? other tutorial show going through the first hook only so im confused T_T
Thank you ❤
What kind of yarn is this?
What yarn fo u use
Please what's the difference between this and sc2tog?
It’s the same thing
push under V
yarn over pull loop
push into next V
yarn over pull through 2
yarn over pull through all 3
