I really like the 150 and 152 for fun flying, especially solo. This is a beautiful restore, but personally I'd prefer a little more in the radio stack.
I was the one flying the aircraft taking the photographs, and I can tell you they had one heck of a pilot. Doing a formation with this aircraft was truly something to see! Extremely bumpy day!
Good old days!....I remember my instructor shouting: "c'mon, C'MON !The yoke for speed, the throttle for rate! Hold it, Hold It , HOLD IT!!, UUEeee!...stall warning screamin' on , and you were on the tarmac....
Search 1967 Cessna 150 parts manual. Go to aeroelectric. The file has the entire parts manual which you will need. Page 14 of the file has your colors. -Dennis.
@@DocOzm Hey Dennis, thank you. I think I've seen this before, but wasn't and haven't been able to convert the Cessna Racing Green CES1054-805 to a commercially available color.
I,m not a fan of the 150s cause they are couped up for me & at 6 ft 2 it does,nt have the leg room that i would need but the 172s & the 182s are my favourites
I looked at a 150 yesterday, to consider buying it. It just wasn't impressive. I fail to understand why some people don't take better care of their little treasures like this. Someone had added a STOL kit on it, and did an absolute lousy job of it. I had to pass!
What a great job on the restoration!

I can still remember the 150's I trained in each was different, the 152 aerobat was my favourite ... good on you for doing this.
They look so good with wheel skirts. Beautiful plane.
Truly a thing of beauty!
Saw this C-150 at Oshkosh 2019 and got some great pictures of it. It’s even more stunning in person.

What a credit to him and those who worked on it! Beauty!
What a sweetheart.
Wow great job! Testors model paint is great on the full scale!
That’s the nicest 150 I have ever seen.
Nice! The 150 I trained in had the N number 23241 . it was nice to see this beautiful airplane. Well done my friend!
Beautiful

Amazing restoration...👍
If you just want to fly to experience the pinnacle of freedom a 100 HP or 85 HP Cessna is all you need.
This makes 115hp 152 sad
Brought two new C-152 from Wichita to Troutdale Oregon. In winter is so fun to play test pilot!!

I'll take it. Nice job. How about doing a Cessna 140A.
i'd like to talk to whoever gave this a thumbs down.
i'm working on a 1967 cessna 150 myself, is there any way to find out what the paint code was for Dennis'?

@@scottwillson5562 We just used color chips to pick the right color using an inspection cover from the belly.
It's in the parts manual and the data tag inside.
Boeings in mirror may be closer than they appear
Straight out of the 1950s. Time for change in GA

The audio is horrible
Sorry, we had an audio glitch, but still felt Dennis’ comments were worth including in the video. Sometimes, things don’t go exactly as planned!
