the question demands pure philosophy because evil doesnt really make any sense. hence it's a great topic to muse on. is it inherent in matter? a moral weakness, a privato boni? no one can really say. it seems to exist but it's a mystery. i think the best explanation is the myth of the fall. but anyways, the form the analysis takes is gonna be reflective of the paradigms of reality in a given system.
@Aquaticphilosophia it's part of reality. we don't really have a choice. good and evil are dangerous because the evil in our nature is always projected outside until we become conscious of it. it usually runs, "they're evil" "we're good" or something like that and it becomes ideology. you reflected on it in this talk: we will always be participating in something evil. there's no way out of that. the reality of human existence, the order of human existence, cannot be realized in a political- historical system. earth is not heaven.
