    I recently fell into the rabbit hole of the U.S. navigable water ways. I knew we had navigable water but never realized how important it was for our country. We would not be a superpower without it and barges are the way take advantage of our advantage. There is literally nothing on youtube in detail that covers it. Ive worked freight and rail and was blown away by the weight a single barge carries. I figured out why my city in TN produces so much chemicals for industry. The river and bulk precursor moved on barge. Keep up the good work 👍

      Thanks, Bryan. We really appreciate the the feedback. And, yes, we absolutely agree. It's mind-blowing how much cargo is transported through our nation's waterways on barges, alone.

    I take it this is near the Gulf somewhere. Its neat seeing the river style tugs and regular bow tugs working together. This dynamic can be seen on a smaller scale in the Chicago area where the Mississippi Watershed(via tributaries) meets the Great Lakes. Many of the Bow tugs you will see working the Lakes either came from the Gulf or New York

    Very interesting Chanel they are going to start a lock a dam project near me at lock and dam 25 on the Mississippi River. You should video some of it
