Your grandpa’s story had me in tears. It’s such an inspirational and important story to be shared. God bless him and good people who stand up for what’s right.
The “I’m not cute any more... 😏I’m pretty.” Made me laugh so hard! You’re family is precious.
I don’t want these episodes to ever end
“I’m just saying some special stories” WOW powerful words
Anytime I see Hailey's shrunken Madewell shirt on one of girls I just giggle a little bit. Been watching your family's journey for a while now, this is one of the most creative series I've seen on UA-cam!
Caitlyn L Hahahha it’s gotten wayyyy more use after it shrunk!! Makes me giggle too 🤪😆 Thanks for your sweet words! -Hailey
I’m normally a silent viewer but I have to comment. Every week I watch these videos and your family is truly beautiful to watch. You’re inspiring and so kind! I still cannot believe y’all don’t have a million subscribers like you deserve. Keep up the great work! 💗💗💗
Possibly my fav video yet. So much love, gratitude and purpose. Love you guys!
I cried listening to the flag story😭🙏🏻. SUCH an important part of our history that younger people today desperately need to hear. 🇺🇸With endless disparaging ideology about America today , these incredible milestones are unfairly ignored. I LOVE YOU GUYS❤️
Catherine 480 THIS! I cried too
Hailey your grandparents were absolutely with you that day!! Oh my goodness I could not stop tearing up!! I love how you're passing on these memories to your kids - I'm so inspired to take my kids to visit my grandparents grave site, there's something so beautiful about that. What a lovely episode!
Manga takk for your video...my bestefar og bestemor ar fra Risor, Norge. Both born 1879. I got to go there in 1990 for 3 weeks and getting to go and walk around their old homes and yards/woods..what an emotional time it was. You brought back a flood of memories of there and watching my two lil girls growing up with Norsk tradition. Keep living and loving the life they gave us. Takk, John Wrolsen
This series is such a great way to start my Sunday.
Farnes Family Scrapbook same!!!
the sweetest taking your kids back to your families gravesite and home! what a special memory!
Thank you so much for sharing. My father lived in an orphanage until he could leave at 18. His now 77 and ths year in May we just found out information on who his parents were. His father was a Norwegian sailor and visited Australia during a stop and had my father. Now we have found all of our Norwegian family and my father has a huge family in Norway and brothers and sisters. I can’t wait to go Norway and meet and experience it all. Thank you for sharing your story🤗
This was incredible, so entertaining and heartwarming, felt like a tv show. The way you filmed this and the genuine emotion behind it made it such an enjoyable experience to watch, amazing video!
Very kind of you to say! Thank you!
I love the white Norwegian houses but the shade of red they use is my dream. Every time I see that colour with the white frames and the dark roof I remember my time in Norway. I'm desperate to get back there and it's amazing to see your history there rather than it just being a beautiful place
Your story had me in tears, my grandpa immigrated from Italy when he was 13, and came to Utah knowing zero English and with no family. He got a job in a bar in Salt Lake City washing drinking glasses. He also wanted to serve in the military because of the opportunities this country had given him, and he was heartbroken because he was rejected because of vision issues (he always wanted to be a pilot.). He makes me so proud of my Italian heritage and my American blood.
Wow the stories this series is bring out are amazing, honestly these videos make me want to asks my grandparents more questions about their lives because as you've show there are some amazing stories out there. Loving this series so much.
I was actually SOBBING sitting here watching this! Thank you for sharing how proud you are of your heritage, and being so deep and real. I love your passion :)
So my Bestefar was in the resistance. So I TOTALLY get it . When I FINALLY get to go to Norway in a year or 2 I will bawl like a BABY!!! I have such pride in being Norwegian. Anything about the war, I just bawl. My Uncle Peder did the same thing. He came to the states and served in the Navy( like a good Norwegian) . I'm so excited to go. I'm going to go and see the Church my Family helpt to build. My Sons name is Harald ( 2 long a's ) For my Bestefar. I totally get where you are coming from.
Hailey, that was so special,
I would love to hear yours and Brads ancestors stories, if you would be willing to share them.
Love your family 💗
Dark exterior!!
And the American flag story with your grandfather is my absolute fave. What a brave act of defiance and unity ❤️
I am LOVING these!! So great to see videos of love and about heritage, family and creativity. True value to this.
I love that you shared that story! Your great grandpa sounds like a wonderful, selfless, and powerful man! I’m also a second generation immigrant and will be traveling to my great grandpa’s homeland in March. Thanks for making such a fun series!
Your family is so beautiful & sweet! I love watching these, thank you so much for sharing it all!
Thank YOU for watching!
Hailey crying makes me cry 😭❤️ So sweet. Angel on earth that one!
This is beautiful!! The stories from your family history, your heart within all of this, the blessings you two and the girls get to receive, the scenery and so much more. Wow this is all so beautiful!!
What a lovely video and what a sweet and amazing family. So great to watch. The part when the girls were holding hands hit me hard, cause I lost my sister not long ago and we were always so close (from when we were little). She was my absolute best friend and we did everything together., we were always together. Feel so lost without her. Your journey is wonderful to watch. Your grandpa's story was very touching. From a fellow Norwegian. 🙂
Been watching your videos for years, and it was soo fun to see you visit my hometown Haugesund. Like whaat??! The bunkers your grandpa was talking about is still popular for kids to play hide and seek in haha
WOW! Such a powerful story! I was in tears! STILL AM IN TEARS!
My favorite episode yet! Seriously so touching and beautiful in every way. Family is everything.
We are full time senior missionaries in SLC at the SLC headquarters mission. We are trainers in the training zone, which trains all the senior full time and church service missionaries. I know your family from both sides of the veil are so proud of you. This is a trip of a lifetime. I was bawling at the end. Our little granddaughter and her husband has followed you sent she sent her "boyfriend," husband to Manchester England on a mission. I got hooked by your cute family and all your travels. Keep up your love of family history. This is the most important work you can do. Remember to enter this stories on your "Person Page in family search under memories and post your pictures and create stories for many generations to come. By the way, I am a friend of Angela Lords that you know that lives now in Idaho Falls.
White houses are pretty and common, but I can imagine yall in a house that is like a charcoal color with a medium to caramel colored roof and accents of the porch or something the same wood color. It would tie in to the style of that beautiful kitchen from another episode! How gorgeous would that be
Wow, what incredible stories you shared, and I’m sure there are many many more! I felt your heart being poured out in this video Hailey and it was so special to watch, had me emotional with you. Such a sweet video and beautiful memory to have forever ❤️
Hailey you made me cry! Such a special story about your poppy :') My favorite was when Lucy and Greta were holding hands in the car, they have such a special relationship. I think a dark colored house would be super cool!
Incredible video ❤️ the story of the flag both warmed my heart and also made me feel so sad thinking of the current situation for the Kurds being attacked by Turkey. I wish we would honor our alliances today as we did during your grandparents’ childhood. Beautiful stories thank you for sharing.
I think I will be the one crying next week. I miss Bergen so much and those preview shots at Bryggen, Fløyen and Norheimsund looked amazing.
I am actually from Norway, but am currently living in Cyprus for studies. This made me miss Norway soo much! Everything about it is just so cozy, calming and natural. I am soo glad you are enjoying Norway as much as I have the past 19 years. Ren hygge 💕
