I was literally jamming to this and was like, "Cant wait for Dave to react to it" and then boom, got the notification, Dave the best fr
Same 🤣
the vocals absolutely SENT me, this definitely my favorite Johnald track😩
"Why do we scream? Why do we cry? When there's nothing left inside" THAT WHOLE BUILD UP TO THE BACK STAB LEFT ME SOBBING. I had the same face on that buildup and drop i was FEELING IT
I put ascend and under my skin next to eachother on my Spotify on a 2sec fade and the transition is FLAWLESS johnald was spitting when he said to listen to ascend then this because boy do they match
Yo wait where do you edit the fade?
@@DavidCruz-uh8qi just go into your Spotify settings and it's one of the first things that you should see. settings and privacy > scroll down a small bit and it's called cross fade with a bar which you can set up to 12 seconds
Whenever Johnald/divide and Fabvl work on a track together you can always expect a masterpiece.
That song is so good that every time I put it on my TV UA-cam crashes
@@raynielmorera3925 lol
lol
The fact that Fabvl and Divide worked on this as well is fire
He should be more known, his music is amazing
Man you noticed things I straight up never could about the production and beat, amazing breakdown here. One of my favorite parts of this song is its juxtaposition of ascension to the song Ascend, one represents it as a willing ascension (“Now it’s time for me to Ascend”) to higher being and higher power whilst the other shows forced ascension (to the afterlife, “I’ve seen thousands of souls that’ve succumbed to ascension”) brought about by the person who has ascended to practically godhood.
If you listen to ascend and then under my skin back to back, like on Spotify, both songs blend into one another perfectly
@@titantrainer592 Also love how the covers kinda mirror each other.
I was waiting for this reaction. 😁
I almost shed a tear😢❤❤
I read volumes 0 and 1 of the manga recently and this song appeared on my playlist yesterday, so decided to watch the 0 movie first before the show last night. Nice to see you did a reaction to it already because I was tempted to comment about the song when I heard it
Woohoo 🙌 been looking forward to this one Dave, thank you man 🙏 I’m still gonna be a cheeky divil and ask again, again, again 🤭🤣 about his song “Save me too”. I’ve gone back through to see if you reacted to it and I just missed but I can’t see it 🤷♂️🫶🏻
I was waiting for this reaction ever since I listened to this the first time
This song is absolutely amazing!!!!
In case you haven't, Dave, you should totally check out that new Ori Stolas song!
good video.
I don’t particularly like the chorus but I must admit that the rest of song is amazing
react to "so cold" by Johnald frfr maybe you have and it got taken down? idk but react to it if you havent and reupload it if you have fr
bro pls react to oricadia new song
Yuji...
dudeeee johnald is taking over nerdcore wtf. you know your good when you steal the show from divide on his demon slayer track then you steal the show from fabvl on his dragon ball song and then you release your own two part song with incredible storytelling and are both contenders to be a top nerd core track on their own
While he was good on both of those tracks I wouldn’t say he stole the show. His vocals are really incredible though, it’s crazy how much sadness they can pack while at other times rage.
@@DavidCruz-uh8qi that's fair enough he definitely stole the show for me though and thats coming from a huge divide fan just didnt really feel the songs were their best works but i appreciate that not everyone would feel like that
@panthro976 both fabvl and divide music actually helped him write this if I remember correctly
@@hammergames04 i obviously cant say for sure but i would assume based on a number of things that they mostly helped with mixing and production rather than the writing process along with some backing vocals in there
