I say "Go fuck yourself" with the same passion, just for different reasons. I feel for the guy, a little. not saying he's right (honestly don't think he is, his own damned fault for buying that garbage company for foolish reasons), I just know the passion that comes with saying such a thing and fucking meaning it.
You might have included how musky being the richest man comes a lot form ownership and not direct money. If Tesla takes a stock dip because it looses so much ground to established manufacturers that’s a lot of his “money” that disappears. Same for space, he is very dependent on the stock valuation for his money.
@@SpottedHaresfair point, but it should be kept in mind that the absolute value of "wealth" is often "illiquid". Elon's wealth is largely tied to his equity position in TSLA, derived entirely from LEAPS options at the $2.5 strike. In order for him to use that money for other purposes he has to take out bridge loans against that equity (edit: or realize gains on that equity when his contract allows). It is NOT an enviable position, even if it is more than most could ever claim to have.
Comments below yur video are amazing.
Nice.
fanboys straightup rushing to your comment section to support their lord and savior lmao. theyre everywhere lmao
He has been on this downward path ever, since he humiliated Vernon Unsworth, a true hero who helps save the children stuck in the flooding cave in Thailand.
His downward path has started ever since he started gaining public attention. It was fine when he was just one of the nerds that was part of some start-ups. But now that he is a demi-God of silicon valley he's insufferable.
Ah yes, because English-speaking folks who move to Thailand to spend time with children are definitely not there to have sex with them.
Yup all he had to do what stick with whatever PR firm he was using that would be like "no Elon claiming a guy saving children in a national news story is a pedophile just because he critized your plan isn't a good idea". They were doing an insanely good job. If he kept up with them and got 3-4 useless but cool looking huts on Mars, he would have had statues built of him and be in history books 5000 years from now as the father of space travel. He turned down that legacy to be a meme lord. Money truly rots the brain.
Facts 💯
Nothing at all tragic about someone telling you exactly who he is
the tragedy is ppl not realizing who he is and enabling him for many years.

Imagine trusting him with a brain implant 😂
Not if your Suicidal
How is this tragic? This is who he is. He has shown us over and over who he is.
And he's winning over and over
Personally, I think the tragedy is someone having every opportunity and enormous access to resources and completely wasting it by being a loathsome hothead. He deserves his failure, for sure. What a waste of privilege.
he is gone crazy
It's because he is a zionist.
That’s true 😂

Just the apartheid jewel miner coming up to the surface.

Saving humanity from the leftists...what does that mean? What has the left done while they've had most the power the past 3 years that would destroy humanity? Seriously, it's not like the house Republicans have been the last line of defense, thwarting the evil left...they're too busy doing nothing. So when does this leftist uprising begin? I'm waiting...
It’s funny given that terminology makes no sense with that context he tried hard to seem intelligent with.

As i have heard it said.
'Money doesn't change someone. It just reveals who they really were.'
People say the same thing about alcohol. Personally, I think both are accurate statements.
lol money dont change who they are but drug do and if some one have alot of money they tend to do drug legally or not.
@@khanhnguyen-tt3ffare you implying Elon Musk does drugs?
@@anjelica948I disagree about drugs. They impair judgement.
@@Moses_VII I didn’t say drugs. I said Alcohol. And while yes alcohol does impair judgement, it impairs judgement by significantly slowing down the processing of the frontal lobe- which is the part of the brain responsible for critical thinking, among other things.
Humans have impulsive thoughts and feelings all the time. Most of us don’t say them out loud, or act on them, because our brain tells us “Not a good idea” for any number of reasons. Since alcohol slows that process down, we’re more likely to say or act on those thoughts. But those thoughts and feelings still generate from within us. It’s still who we are.
Enormous amounts of money can cause a similar effect- but instead of changing the speed of our brain’s functionality, instead money tends to protect people from consequences. Because people are too afraid to challenge the rich person, or the rich person can just throw money at the consequence and make it go away. But if you go long enough not having consequences because of money, you’ll start to think you’re invincible, which will lead to rash actions.
I hope the banks and investors that helped him take over are enjoying the show lol
Definitely more funny than tragic. It's been fun to watch the prescient people calling him out for ages before it became mainstream, but far more fun to see huge segments of society now ridiculing him. (MARS MISSION BTW)
oh right there was something about that, maybe that will be paused for climate change sake (lol)
I would point out all of scams on Reddit, 5-10 years ago, and nobody would agree with me in replies and just call me a hater. I love it now
He's still the richest man with powerful companies. The masses can ridicule him but he will still amount to more than 99.9999% of the population by just about every metric.
There's nothing better than sitting back and watching people go crazy about something you've been saying for YEARS!
If only more people listened back then Elon would not be richest man; because of those idiots Elon will die wealthy, even if in jail.
The "Tragic" implosion is a gigantic stretch. There's nothing tragic about it when he did this to himself.
Basically if the captain of the Titanic saw the iceberg, drove right towards it, and then said "Icebergs are a Jewish lie".
He's probably surrounded by yes men. Anyone who could talk sense to him is gone and because he's so rich, there is no way for him to get back in touch with normal people. He probably legit thinks his internet humor makes him relatable to the general public. It could almost be considered sad.
The ultra-rich are not regarded to be "normal," and their impression of poverty alone is often viewed and acted upon with such apathy and exploitation.

Hopefully every advertiser hears him well. It's a very clear message. I'm sure Bob did.
Tons of ads on Twitter (X), so what are your going about bro? Considering the woke grooming trash that Disney produces today, every company should reject their ads.
It was an extremely stupid move by advertisers. You as a brand never want to come between "nations", religion, color and political parties. IT will just destroy your addressable consumer base.
Also, Musk will constantly target BOB openly, which will make his position very vulnerable.
I doubt Bob cares, he had previously retired and Disney dismissed his successor and asked him back to stay for at least 2 years recently extended until end 2026 so they could find a new successor so he knows its a time limited role and he's already made his money.
Fuck nations. Fuck religion. Nobody within nations or religions even agrees on everything. Taking sides in ANY conflict - no matter between a criminal defendant (e.g. some one on trial in Afghanistan versus the Taliban or Julian Assange versus the UK) - is a political position. So it is IMPOSSIBLE NOT to take sides if you treat one party better than another.@@archigoel

@wallstreetmillennial you forgot already why he bought the company? Elon Musk was forced to buy after he agreed to buy it without doing due diligence. To me, it is clear he did not want to buy it but could not cancel without loosing big money.
I liked the video but was surprised they forgot that part considering it's a big part of why he HAD to buy the company and then tried to get out of paying the lawyers who had been paid by twitter and had made him buy the company (I believe one of the last payments to go out before he took over)
This. Musk will say things "as a meme" just to get internet points, and then he's forced to realize that making statements like that, as the richest man in the world, will count as market manipulation and open you up to liability.
Yes, it was absolutely foisted on unsuspecting Musk out of the blue, it's not like he initiated the negotiations or signed any binding contracts... Oh, wait. If he didn't actually want to buy Twitter, he put an awful lot of effort into pretending that he did, whatever buyer's remorse he might have had afterwards.
Twitter’s financials were borderline fraud given their published monetizable user ratio and bot count, which was demonstrably false. But yea, shouldn’t have waived due diligence and not had an escape hatch. Bad timing though, considering the market at large went to shit right after his agreement to buy it.
$1 Billion is a lot less than $44 Billion. He didn't have to sign the contract, which had a break penalty he chose to not exercise. How is enforcing terms of the contract he signed forcing him? Twitter wouldn't need those lawyers had he not tried to wriggle out. Twitter execs tried to deter him. The offer was so high, Twitter had little choice but to take it seriously for its shareholders. It's 100% Musk's fault.
The most tragic thing about this whole situation is seeing how relentlessly people suck up to him.
No matter how much he proves himself to be an imbecile people are willing to look past it and drop to their knees.
Imbecile is a perfect word here.
Idiots think rich people will help make them rich if they lick their boots enough.

They weren't "batman style wings", it was the worlds first parachute. And his popularisation of the concept led to the creation of the first working parachutes, which makes him a pioneer. Yea but they are slaves to the woke
The difference is the Zuckerbot will go out and talk platitudes about how they're trying to fix the situation, whilst the Melon Husk tells people to go F themselves and declares anti semitic tweets the truth. One is easier to ignore with from a branding perspective than the other. This is the latest episode of it, Twitter might go bust but Musk won't, the video title is click bait.
I relish the inevitable fall of Phony Stark.
So phony that his company is doing 4 times the mass to orbit of every other company and country combined. You must be a genius!
So if the company fails it will be because of the advertisers and not because he lost the advisers

From white nationalists and antisemitic conspiracy theorists, Musk is now eagerly engaging with the far right in the UK and Germany. Musk’s grandfather J. N. Haldeman, whom he presents as a risk-taking adventurer and whose politics he dismisses as “quirky.” In fact, Haldeman was a pro-apartheid, antisemitic conspiracy theorist who blamed much of what bothered him about the world on Jewish financiers.
What was said in this unquoted "antisemantic tweet"?
great reporting... we should always remember...daddy was a prat....apple didnt fall far from the tree with the son..
Yes he hates his father but has become him.
Before 2018 I was ambivalent to Elon Musk. I thought good for him that he was making electric cars more marketable but that was as far as it went. The mask slipped during the Tham Luang cave rescue since his ego was fall show when he tried to get the rescuers to use his mini-sub and Verb Unsworth told him it was worse than useless. Musk's reaction was petulant since he called Unsworth a P-word. He wanted the good press and was unhappy that someone called him out.
Musk was good at PR before 2018 since he got cameos in Iron Man 2, The Big Bang Theory, and Young Sheldon, and his Simpsons appearance made the Lady Gaga episode look like a biting critique of the pop star. Those appearances are awkwardly funny in hindsight.
Exactly. The cave thing showed me a glimpse of his fragile-ego, and I dug deeper didn't like what I saw. Confirmed my belief that media can pretty much get your believing almost any kind of bs-made up fantasy origin fairytale about anyone from the class which they serve.
The combination of "funding secured" lie and cave rescue issue turned me 100% against Musk. Those two events revealed that Musk is a failure as a human being, regardless of his business success.
@@tarekyared4404 I'm in a pretty similar situation - those two incidents shifted me from "neutral" to "against." I don't trust a man that unserious with control of actual infrastructure.
On the plus side, that Iron Man 2 cameo lets me headcanon an Iron Man 4 where Musk is the main antagonist. Because let's be honest - he wouldn't be able to live in the MCU for very long without becoming a supervillain.
what did he say that was anti-semetic?
I read somewhere a while back that Musk gets by on very little sleep. I can't help but feel that (mixed with drug use) is not working wonders for his mental acuity, which may help at least partially explain what is going on with him

EVs do not help the environment. They just shift emissions from the tailpipe to other areas.
The emissions per mile are still much lower for an EV than for an ICE car. But yes, the emissions are not zero. I'll certainly agree with that.
EVs DO help the environment. They need to be driven more than about 13K miles to be ahead of ICE cars in terms of lifetime CO2 emissions. Also the grid gets cleaner over time so EVs are better and better. Just wish someone other than ***king Elon were as successful at making them work in the real world.
@@jeffberwick yeah and 30% of US emissions comes from transportation. So even if the grid was 100% renewable, that would only solve 70% of the problem without EV's. EV's are a necessary piece of the puzzle.

I don’t see one hint of narcissism in his behaviour. He dresses humbly, doesn’t preen himself; ok, so he’s had a hair transplant maybe. I’ve never heard him brag about how brilliant he is, and this is the first interview where he’s alluded to his considerable wealth. His only delusions have been things like thinking we can build bases on Mars within a decade or so. But, as the song goes “If you don’t have a dream, how’re ya gonna make a dream come true?”
@@sirrathersplendid4825 thank you for injecting some sanity here. I agree, Elon isn’t a narcissist, Trump certainly is. And Elon can’t stand Trump.
@@sirrathersplendid4825 he’s delusional about his knowledge which includes what he says about neuralink and what he says about being the one who knows the most in the whole world about manufacturing. He lies about many of his promises (from self driving, to acquisition of solar city and mars). He’s delusional with his own ideas (hyperloop and the bore company). He’s an absolute asshole with employees. He seems to be an asshole with wives too. I could keep going. There are plenty of examples. He lied about Asperger’s. he change the algorithm just so his tweets could have more exposure. I can keep going.
"I've done more for the environment than anyone on Earth."
Every astronomer whose telescopes are rendered useless by Starlink's carpet of space debris would beg to differ.
How did you get some of these angles so wrong? Lmfao
He never posted anything anti-youknowwhat. If so, please cite your source and show it on the screen? I’d like to see it
He just allowed Alex Jones back on Twitter. Not only that, he held a livestream with basically the world's worst human being to promote him. That's it for me. I've had enough.
he literally commented saying an anti-semitic tweet was the truth, what more do you need. does he need to cosplay as hitler and take a dump on the auschwitz grounds?
You need to pay attention when using driver aids. That means looking straight ahead, being ready to take the wheel or use the brakes. DO NOT watch movies, text or sleep. You and only you are responsible for the safety of yourself and those around you.
while i would never buy an EV of any kind, but Elon the man is hands down the greatest CEO in the country! How can anyone not like this guy?
good piece of analysis and reporting! thank you & keep it up!
He’s doing just fine.
Disney is kind of tanking, if you haven't noticed.
Yup Disney is face planting pretty hard at the moment
Go woke, go broke!
Disney...the largest media company in the world is doomed.
Better go grab those $5 puts ASAP 😂
No it isn’t. It’s stock value is almost exactly what it was a year ago and slightly below what it was five years ago. It had a peak 2020 to early 2022, similar to many other media corporations and has dropped since then, but it’s not at all “tanking”.
Howard Hughes went nuts towards the end too.
“Look what you made me do” in reverse… but without any acknowledgement of the “me”
Elon has had serious personality problems for a long time (see posts by his ex-wife and others). These problems can get much worse as people age and the problems remain untreated or otherwise unresolved. Rich people can fail to see the seriousness of their problems as their money convinces them they are a genius at everything. They also get surrounded by 'yes men' who fail to make them aware of obvious shortcomings and generally pander to their 'genius at everything' view of themselves. If you think Elon is crazy now .. watch this space as he ages further !!
I was a guy that wanted Elon to succeed and was planning on buying a Tesla, then in about 2019 he started saying and doing what he is now better known for. Sad really, I was hoping he was this generations Albert Einstein, boy was I way off on that.
Aww

Nobody cares. You are triggered because he doesn't believe your same political beliefs. No rich person does, they just pretend too.

Great Video champ!
He is saving humanity. 😅😅
SBF and elizabeth holmes were also saving humanity. When are we going to stop believing some super genius going to save us?
Don't let the sink hit your ass on the way out.
To all the people posting on here about how you think WSM is wrong because you agree with Elon's political views or stated objectives for Twitter... do y'all remember the phrase 'facts don't care about your feelings?' Alienating wide swathes of your user base and especially the advertisers that make up 90% of your income is never going to be a good business move, regardless of the reasoning behind it. That's just reality. Yet this comment section is flooded with people who seem personally offended that WSM would point this out. Is Twitter going to un-bankrupt itself if it destroys 50,000 wokes or something?
I frankly don’t care. What I do care about is all of the people who think Musk is the worst rich person while defending the rest simply because musk is more openly eccentric and open about his beliefs. Half of the billionaires would opt for an authoritarian oligarchy where they control every aspect of your life, but for some reason people are angry about a libertarian who runs twitter poorly. People’s priorities are fucked.
im more disappointed that WSM is a typical libtard than anything
His main enemy is his ego...
Agree
Nope, from white nationalists and antisemitic conspiracy theorists, Musk is now eagerly engaging with the far right in the UK and Germany.
And the reason i would never consider buying a Tesla is because of him
Great doc. Thanks my man
Not tragic. Tragic is watching the entire world get conned. SpaceX is the only project he's ever had major influence on in that isn't terrible.
News just in: Space X is terrible.
@@hgm8337 what happened with space x?
SpaceX loses money on every commercial rocket launch...
@@rock3tcatU233 I'm loathe to defend them, but that's pretty standard in some industries, and was definitely true of NASA pretty much throughout its lifetime. Takes a while to get positive cash flow. Anyway I would prefer they fail as well (I don't think space should be privatized) but as of now they're doing okay.
Based on Walter Issacsons book, he didn't have much influence and the people who work there spend a lot of time trying to keep Elon busy so he can't interfere with anything important.
It seems to me he bought Twitter purely out of spite and he is now paying for the consequences. Combine that with all the overpromising (or even false advertising, who knows?) Tesla and SpaceX made to investors, it seems everything is just falling apart.
Building consumer trust is better than short term advertisement revenue.
I really dislike musk and have done so for the last decade, I would love to cheer stuff like this on but this seems like cherry picking data and the two examples provided as unsafe self driving were both recklass driving by the other party and the truck drivers will likely be charged with manslaughter, we really can't blame the self driving for that. A human would have a strong possbility of winding up dead as well and the fact you picked these examples indicates there were few if any severe crashes caused by the software which is really good, if the truck was driven by software as well no one would be dead. Once again I hate musk with a passion but this feels like misinformation.
You’re overdoing the “I hate Musk” thing there. You may want to dial it back the next time to try to defend him.
@@tatata1543 I stated it twice to make it clear I wasn't defending him, and to avoid it looking like I was and the criticism being written off for that reason, I forgot on the internet even "I hate that person" can still be seen as yeah he is clearly a fanboy defending him... and ignoring all other points raised which is why I made it clear lol we are doomed
@@David-ns8ft Problem there is that you were defending him. You’re still doing it now.
@@tatata1543No I didn't I never once defended musk I pointed out the points raised in the video were flawed. Its not the same thing. But this is clearly an echochamber with no critical thinking. Musk is an unstable racist that dosent make the points raised against self driving cars here sound.
IDK about the USA but in Europe the roads are so busy that large trucks would never move if they did not get in the way of other traffic sometimes - like when making a turning in this case. The truck driver would certainly not be charged with manslaughter - instead, a car driver hitting such a truck would be charged with not driving with due care and attention.
It’s been happening for years. The backlash should have started sooner.
What was the tweet?
Muks wants to save earth with EVs :D That's the best joke ever :D
How did he implode? He's fine. He was always "that guy".
they don't understand how a person could have both good and bad things about them. I hope they can experience freedom of thought one day
I'm not a Musk defender by any means but it's worth pointing out that for the crash talked about at 23:09, investigators found a portable DVD player in the wreckage which was still playing Harry Potter, so it's possible the man was not paying attention at all to the road when he T-boned the semi. The man unfortunately trusted too much in the technology.
Yeah, exactly. And he was using basic autopilot, not FSD. Basic autopilot does not receive frequent updates. It is, also, free.
Yeah, but it’s also worth considering that Musk has been calling this a “full self driving” system for so long that it’s not unlikely that someone would just assume the car is perfectly autonomous.
@@epicrotfl7017 I agree that regulators should force them to rename it to "Advanced Driver Assist" or "Advanced Autopilot" or something like that. Until it is actually L4 autonomy. But I am fairly confident that it will, ultimately, become FSD. Just might take a while (certainly a lot longer than Musk has predicted, lmao)
@@epicrotfl7017 I assume that the dude mentioned in the video, who was running a channel showing off his autopilot in every video would know the car is not perfectly autonomous, but I agree that in general, Musk's statements are incredibly dangerous and irresponsible.
The system is touted as full self driving in pretty much all material and every time Elon talks about it, yes you should be keeping your hands on the wheel and paying attention 100% of the time to be ready to take over from the car making mistakes... at which point you might as well be driving yourself and not worry about the car suddenly doing something unexpected like blasting under a semi.
Also nice way to ignore that an exact same kind of incidents have happened afterwards, because a suitably colored semi in front of a Tesla will just seem like open sky to it and it'll blast straight thought it.
"You're going to blackmail me? With money?"
Well done, Thank you!
Excellent video, now the simps will attack you forever though.
Haha yeah. Just check the comments. All muskrats are attacking him lol
It’s all so perfectly representative of our times.
Musks commitment to free speech on Twitter will turn it into a juggernaut. I think this will be Musks greatest gift to humanity.
