When I heard that Precure 5 intro come through I almost sobbed out of happiness. It was my very first precure I watched and its crazy how dear it is to me.

Especially the scene where Mirai is on her way back to the Non-Witch World and both her and Riko just show this deep bond they have. Seeing Moforun cry as well as Mirai just made me cry too

First discovered precure in 4th grade through Smile Precure (which remains my favorite series to this day), and I have watched many, but not all of the other seasons. I loved watching this long precure video because for a while I’ve been debating whether or not to go and watch every season in chronological order, and I think that this might have been the push I needed to get me back into the fandom. Ps. I’m one of like, three people who actually liked Happiness Charge, but then again I was in 5th grade when it was airing, so it’s not like I had any standards. It would come on right after I came home from school and I looked forward to it everyday, I can even somewhat remember dancing and singing to the opening in my room, lol

My thoughts: 1) Agreed, Splash Star has the worst designs. 2) I love Happiness Charge actually, but I also find Cure Honey subpar 3) I did not enjoy Mahou Tsukai for many reasons like Mofurun being annoying af, also am not a fan of the form changes, and the fights are lackluster way more than KiraKira 4) Kirakira is the MOST aesthetically pleasing and has the best designs. I just really do not like Cure Parfait. 5) Hugtto is my most favorite.. The story is deep and I did cry tears.

Personally, start with whichever one interests you the most. The only season I’ve finished to this date is Hugtto and let me say that it’s a great place to start. The villains are top notch and the bond between the girls is incredibly strong. There were some heart wrenching moments and times of pure joy. It’s a rollercoaster of emotions that I watched while it aired and I don’t regret a single second of it. Of course it’s my biased opinion but even so it’s right before the current season and once you finish it you can just hop on to Star Twinkle. I will say I have watched some of Go! Princess and that’s terrific too so far c:

Here in Italy we were lucky, as the seasons up to Heartcatch were dubbed. Trivia: the dubber for Miki Aono/Cure Berry also dubbed Sayaka Miki in Puella Magi Madoka Magica. In the Revolution movie, when Sayaka mentions a Raspberry, that's a reference to Cure Berry. My dealbreaker with Suite was the really stupid reason for the rift between Hibiki and Kanade.

Here, here. Smile is what got me into Precure. What I love about this season is how every character gets to shine. Something most season after tend to have a problem with since certain characters are given more focus than others.
Smile is what got me into Pretty Cure, also Doki Doki. I think you can guess what's next, but if you cannot, I never knew that Glitter Force was a dub for years. Besides the horrible things, the dubs were very good.
I am so glad somebody finally did a thorough review on Yes! Pretty Cure 5 and GoGo. This was the very first precure and very FIRST ANIME I watched, and I'm so sad that more people don't know about it/ have forgotten about it (mostly because of all the recent precure seasons, not a lot of people go back to watch the OG ones). I loved GoGo a lot more than the original pretty cure 5 because the time is set a little into the future, and you can actually see the characters looking older and more mature in the sequel, from their faces and body proportions to their transformation outfits and weapons. If any of you guys like Smile! Pretty Cure (Glitter Force), I highly recommend watching the OG where that was based off, Yes! Pretty Cure 5 (and highly highly suggest the sequel, Yes! Pretty Cure 5 GoGo!).
The only thing I hate in Yes! is Milk, Kurumi-Milky Rose her attidude and personality I just cannot stand and the romance between Coco and Nozomi she always get between them or jealous because she likes Coco too, just like chibiusa in Sailor Moon would always get between Usagi and Mamoru but would rather Yes! and Smile than Sailor Moon and she became a sixth ranger too, maybe would rather choose Shiny Luminous than Rose

I forgot it until I saw smile on Netflix (it's the good one of the two glitter for seasons). After that I never got into it until the first 3 episodes of Kira Kira was put on UA-cam, not being able to find more I discovered Kiss anime and was Drowned in the Kira kira Kiraru~ I searched Glitter force online and was confused when I found a cross over of the two seasons but it was i Japanese and Lucky was Happy. The showed a line up when suddenly "Oh wow there's a bunch of these gir- WAIT!! WHAT THE !? OMG MY CHILDHOOD!!" My top tree fan's is number 1. Kira Kira Precure a la mode 2. Huguto Precure 3. Smile Precure (Least favourite is Happiness charge)

The first Pretty Cure that I ever watched was the OG one on TV in Spanish dub. I remember that I was impressed that they literally beat the shit out of their enemies. I was used to Sailor Moon where they had their special attact that were like magic. The only time they use their "magic" is when they finish their enemies but before that we can see Nagisa punching people and Honoka kicking them. Seeing magical girls using hand to hand to fight was something that I never saw. Is true that with so much season Pretty Cure have, their story might not seem as exciting but I think they can be given a pass for being the first to introduce the elements which later we would get used to. I love their friendship and how they needed each other to do the finishing move or to transform, which made their bond really strong. They also were realistic enough were their friendships is not instantaneous but we can see it grow through the series until we can really say they are really important to each other. I kind of ship them. Is funny how they were one of the first ship wlw ship that I saw people shipping, but I was not as use to them so I was like "what, just because one of the girls is a tomboy doesn't mean they have to date" But with the pass of time, I can say that I ship them a lot. Their bond and friendship is so strong that I don't know who would ever win their heart if not each other. Like we see Nagisa with her crush but is so sallow in comparition that I really think nagihono get together in the future. I don't know if it was nostalgia but in that episode of Hugtto where they have the crossover for the anniversary, when we see them fighting I couldn't stop thinking that they were so cool and in sync and powerful. I felt that power myself just from seeing them, I felt like I could punch someone. They made the OG like the legend they are. They are the senpai that must be respected.

Ah yeah most of the precure are straight up Asian Japanese ppl, a few of them are mixed but mixed white, Cure Soleil however is the first instance of a dark skinned precure (as well as one of the only dark skinned magical girls across the genre) and the first instance of a non white mixed race precure.

Yes, Predicure was my childhood but my favorite one is Smile Predicure as it was Aires during the flooding tragedy in 2014? I can't remember the year but they aired that Season of Predicure BECAUSE children lost parents people lost families each epsilon of that season were a lesson to overcome loss and other incredible life lessons
I already watched nearly all the seasons of Precure. I’m just watching this because I love to see more people not only spreading their love for the franchise but discuss about it. Definitely love this Precure video and I enjoyed it! :) My first Precure season is the first one but my favorite one is Smile. and light-hearted story but it really works in it's favor because it gives us more interaction between the characters and they don't have to suffer for it because they all have equal screentime which is something Dokidoki suffers from and why it’s probably just an okayish season. I think you were also abit unfair to Happy. Yes, she’s super happy and upbeat but there’s actually a reason for that, especially in her backstory and origin that the later episodes and movie covered where she’s an introvert to a typical Pink. So, it’s not like she’s just like that for the sake of a trope. Btw, thanks for mentioning Azenzone. He’s an awesome YT User.

I’m happy since Crunchyroll added more precure, I think they added healing good, tropical rouge, and Delicious Party, which is nice. I hope they keep adding more as it’s gaining even more traction in the west!

Precure was so niche when I started watching it that I assumed it would never get subtited, and so I watched the entirety of Yes! precure 5 Gogo without them. I'm glad to see that this is no longer an issue these days. 😊

Here, here. Smile is what got me into Precure. What I love about this season is how every character gets to shine. Something most season after tend to have a problem with since certain characters are given more focus than others.
Smile is what got me into Pretty Cure, also Doki Doki. I think you can guess what's next, but if you cannot, I never knew that Glitter Force was a dub for years. Besides the horrible things, the dubs were very good.
Can you make a 2024 version when wonderful Precure comes out?

I am so glad somebody finally did a thorough review on Yes! Pretty Cure 5 and GoGo. This was the very first precure and very FIRST ANIME I watched, and I'm so sad that more people don't know about it/ have forgotten about it (mostly because of all the recent precure seasons, not a lot of people go back to watch the OG ones). I loved GoGo a lot more than the original pretty cure 5 because the time is set a little into the future, and you can actually see the characters looking older and more mature in the sequel, from their faces and body proportions to their transformation outfits and weapons. If any of you guys like Smile! Pretty Cure (Glitter Force), I highly recommend watching the OG where that was based off, Yes! Pretty Cure 5 (and highly highly suggest the sequel, Yes! Pretty Cure 5 GoGo!).
The only thing I hate in Yes! is Milk, Kurumi-Milky Rose her attidude and personality I just cannot stand and the romance between Coco and Nozomi she always get between them or jealous because she likes Coco too, just like chibiusa in Sailor Moon would always get between Usagi and Mamoru but would rather
Yes! and Smile than Sailor Moon and she became a sixth ranger too, maybe would rather choose Shiny Luminous than Rose

I started watching when I was a kid when the dub was on air. I forgot it until I saw smile on Netflix (it's the good one of the two glitter for seasons).
After that I never got into it until the first 3 episodes of Kira Kira was put on UA-cam, not being able to find more I discovered Kiss anime and was Drowned in the Kira kira Kiraru~
I searched Glitter force online and was confused when I found a cross over of the two seasons but it was i Japanese and Lucky was Happy. The showed a line up when suddenly "Oh wow there's a bunch of these gir- WAIT!! WHAT THE !? OMG MY CHILDHOOD!!"

The first Pretty Cure that I ever watched was the OG one on TV in Spanish dub. I remember that I was impressed that they literally beat the shit out of their enemies. I was used to Sailor Moon where they had their special attact that were like magic. The only time they use their "magic" is when they finish their enemies but before that we can see Nagisa punching people and Honoka kicking them. Seeing magical girls using hand to hand to fight was something that I never saw. Is true that with so much season Pretty Cure have, their story might not seem as exciting but I think they can be given a pass for being the first to introduce the elements which later we would get used to.
I love their friendship and how they needed each other to do the finishing move or to transform, which made their bond really strong. They also were realistic enough were their friendships is not instantaneous but we can see it grow through the series until we can really say they are really important to each other. I kind of ship them. Is funny how they were one of the first ship wlw ship that I saw people shipping, but I was not as use to them so I was like "what, just because one of the girls is a tomboy doesn't mean they have to date" But with the pass of time, I can say that I ship them a lot. Their bond and friendship is so strong that I don't know who would ever win their heart if not each other. Like we see Nagisa with her crush but is so sallow in comparition that I really think nagihono get together in the future.
I don't know if it was nostalgia but in that episode of Hugtto where they have the crossover for the anniversary, when we see them fighting I couldn't stop thinking that they were so cool and in sync and powerful. I felt that power myself just from seeing them, I felt like I could punch someone. They made the OG like the legend they are. They are the senpai that must be respected.

Ah yeah most of the precure are straight up Asian Japanese ppl, a few of them are mixed but mixed white, Cure Soleil however is the first instance of a dark skinned precure (as well as one of the only dark skinned magical girls across the genre) and the first instance of a non white mixed race precure.

Yes, Predicure was my childhood but my favorite one is Smile Predicure as it was Aires during the flooding tragedy in 2014? I can't remember the year but they aired that Season of Predicure BECAUSE children lost parents people lost families each epsilon of that season were a lesson to overcome loss and other incredible life lessons

I already watched nearly all the seasons of Precure. I’m just watching this because I love to see more people not only spreading their love for the franchise but discuss about it. Definitely love this Precure video and I enjoyed it! :)
My first Precure season is the first one but my favorite one is Smile. and light-hearted story but it really works in it's favor because it gives us more interaction between the characters and they don't have to suffer for it because they all have equal screentime which is something Dokidoki suffers from and why it’s probably just an okayish season.
I think you were also abit unfair to Happy. Yes, she’s super happy and upbeat but there’s actually a reason for that, especially in her backstory and origin that the later episodes and movie covered where she’s an introvert to a typical Pink. So, it’s not like she’s just like that for the sake of a trope.

if i can just say, i LOVE that you liked and approved of Cure Beat because Suite was my introduction to PreCure and to this day is my favorite season along with Beat being my favorite Cure of all time. cause i see so many people hating on her and it makes me sad that my OG waifu is getting harrassed so yay!!! finally some good wholesome Beat love.
The fruit theme for Fresh Precure and name of the series itself was based on a Fresher take on Precure after Yes Precure 5 GoGo’s low ratings in Japan.
Star Twinkle is my fave now because of music transformation (and I love Cure Star, Milky and Soleil). Star Color Pendant is aesthetic 🤩⭐️✨🫶😻
