This is the feature you guys voted for, coming out with 54% of the votes in favour of this 6125R John Deere. Looking at the stats across the Agri Farm Models youtube channel, its easy to see just how much of a following there is for anything John Deere and I m sure you all will not be disappointed with this one you see here.
Having previously featured the John Deere 7310R and 6250R, its a great time to look at one of the smaller tractors that carry the R stamp in this 6125R. It may not have the size or real life horse power of the 7310R, but i am sure you will agree WIking have packed so much into this 1/32 scale model tractor.
In the real world, the 6125R is fitted with a 4.5l, 4 cylinder turbocharged 125hp engine, Wiking have given us access to that engine with the opening bonnet. This model is very well spec'd with foldaway front lift arms, PTO with a metal nose guard fixed above. John Deere have 2 front end loader options, the H310 & H340 with the latter fitted and loading bucket included.
Fully accessible cab with both doors opening allowing access to a very detailed interior. Rear window also opens outwards and extra operator visibility is provided by way of a cab roof mounted window.
Loader is detailed with functioning hydraulic rams & lines attached, finished off with the visual attachment level bar. For counter balance there is a weight block which may be fitted front or rear depending on the days application.
Beacons and lights are detailed using a mixture or clear & coloured plastics along painted spot lights.
With bigger horse power tractors becoming very popular with many collectors, this 6125r reminds us just how good some of the smaller scale tractors are. Recommended !!

Sept. 11, 2020----Thanks for the video showing off this product. Unfortunately, the price much higher than I want to pay as this vehicle is going for $90 including shipping on Ebay. The other reason is lack of real detailing when it comes to lifting the forks for example. I don't think John Deere builds 'em that way in the factory.
Got back into modeling, but going for 1/35th scale zombie/apocalypse dioramas. The bad thing is lack of a lot of kits featuring modern day vehicles, including farm equipment. So at first, I was buying 1/32 scale die cast stuff, then found out about 1/36 scale stuff. Got a couple of 1/35 wooden wagon kits, along with a WW 2 tractor. Thought I'd put a couple of guys in the loader thing, while other men are in the wagon, with the men and some of the women killing zombies while trying to rescue people in town. And of course, kids will be in the wagon too. I know 1/32 scale is kind of big compared to 1/35 scale, but when that's all you can find....

Are different companies' tractors and trailers/implements interchangeable? Like can a Wiking trailer/implement be attached to a Weise tractor, or a Siku trailer be attached to a Wiking tractor?

hey man,
Typically it’s like for like with the exception of items which have towing eyes, trailers, some trailed implements etc. I’d never buy a Wiking tractor with the hope that a Universal hobbies mounted implement will fit, 99 times out of 100, it won’t.
Wiking tractors have the largest hitch pin so my experience has been that I have had to enlarge the towing eye of a trailed UH seeder to fit. Same goes for all brands really.

for functionality, historically, it has to be Wiking ( who are owned by Siku ). In recent years, wiking have had a noticeable drop in detail/functionality even though their prices seem to be increasing.
The best brand at the moment in my opinion is MarGe Models. While they dont incorporate the opening bonnets or doors on their argi models, their products are second to none.
A MarGe tractor as an example weighs twice that of any of their competitors due to the many metal parts used versus others using plastic
