This happened to me before all of this. I was banned from that server for "misgendering" a member of who I thought it was a boy. Clearly not, it was a girl. The member got so sensitive that she decided to talk to the moderators and got me banned for a stupid reason. The moderators are not professional and there probably like "16, 17, 15, 21" years of age. I didn't care about rejoining. That honestly seems like really unprofessional handling by the mods of the server. Not even willing to consider unintentional mistake. I know this guy doesn’t represent MOB as a whole, but the studio should def know and correct this.
Mob was never defendable. It’s still ok to enjoy their work and the ppl who actually care on the dev team. But it was never going to be possible to defend them from them bullying a child into a mental hospital. And that was just the FIRST thing they did.
I am in the MOB server and am not active in there whatsoever, I’m mainly in there to get content for the upcoming chapters and such. However I do have to admit that not willing to at least hear someone out over a honest mistake and just straight up banning them without at least talking to them is pretty irrational in my honest opinion and I feel they should have handled it better. I mean I can understand if others were being rude about Poe’s gender in a separate chat but it still isn’t an excuse if someone accidentally called Poe a “ He “ by mistake.
Hey I see you also bring up this topic, I am a former Partner in Crime and I was kicked out and banned for expressing my own opinion about the character Pou “in my opinion something like that is not needed something like that in a game like poppy playtime” Later I wrote that “thank god Wukong went the other way” and I got banned for discrimination and hating a game character that doesn't exist, and they wrote why are you hating a character that doesn't exist? I hope they can resolve this peacefully, because I guarantee 9/10 people who got affected by this genuinely didn't mean any harm when referring to Poe. I hope you can get another appeal sent in soon.
Also i want to add that not everyone is fluent in english and there are tons of languages that aren't gender neutral, in my case its portuguese. In my language EVERY subject has a gender (either female or male) so we naturally use gendered pronouns when using english because the concept of "they/them" doesn't exist for us, but we don't do that with bad intentions.
n Poland I can't say it either, if someone tries to say something like "Weszli do pokój" you can't say it without creating a new word. He (man) She (woman), so "they/their" should be something like Onu (a word that doesn't exist) or Oni (more than one person). There is a game that used Onu in the Polish translation because no one knew how to translate it
WOW! I didn't even notice this and it sounds like BS, one thing is that *Poe* is a male name and people that didn't know about his gender that would get banned would be so so wrong
Ugh, see? I knew Poe having those kinds of pronouns was bad news. How hard is it to give a character a gender? And another question, why did they make Poe non binary anyway? If it was to appeal to the LGBTQ community, I'm gonna lose it, I think they have enough representation already.
I think the original statement meant if anyone was being homophobic because of Poe, they would ban them for hate speech, not that Poe being called a different pronoun would get you banned.

@RosesNCougars imagine having a habit your whole life only for it to be changed suddenly. Do you expect that person to get the change correct 100% of the time? If you really want to talk about spreading misinformation, then how about you quit spreading the narrative that I’m misgendering on purpose. You say I only call Poe they once in the video as if that means something. I called them “them” only once because I only referred to them in context needed to use personal pronouns once. I never would have made a deal about this if y’all simply accepted my appeal where I flat out explain the situation that it was an ACCIDENT, and I was going to try harder. But you didn’t care. It’s people like you that are causing more hate towards the cause you claim to help by assuming anyone who makes mistakes is being disrespectful. The MOB moderation team acts like a bunch of whining children who didn’t get the candy they wanted at the store. Grow up.
Honestly, only one year between chapters 3 and 4 is a treat, considering chapter 3 took a year and 8 months to make, which was because they spent so much time on Project playtime. Take it from a computer science major who doesn't even know the full scope of game development: It's a long and difficult process.
Im very confused because one half of this comment section is either 'Mob gone woke' or some sort of variation of that. I guess im gonna speak more to the comment section than the actual creator of the video I understand the whole 'Man we dont care about pronouns why would the toys need them anyways?' and yeah a ban is wrong, they shouldve educated users but like its just pronouns...? with the same logic youd be saying that none of the toys need she/her or he/him pronouns because yeah those are pronouns too but I guess its suddenly wrong when they/them comes into the picture? An outright ban was wrong, but they did state in the announcement 'no warnings' and misgendering falls under the category of hate towards the pronouns by not using them, but they could have been clearer? Idk At the end of the day MOB can do whatever they want with their game, LGTBQ+ or not. Its still a game and its not like that stuff bleeds so heavily into any lore they have that it effects the actual gameplay outside of a skin or two.
Respectfully, I think you're just mad- LGBT rep characters are KNOWN for getting hate online, so fair that they wanted to cut that out as soon as possible but implementing a ban, saves time and lets people know immediately that it's serious. Sure you should have received a warning, a simple "Oh by the way, this character is They/Them. Thanks" before getting banned, cause it may not be clear for everyone I guess??? (Idk myself on that, but eh) But still you're not helping yourself here and, once again with respect, I think it comes from a place of ignorance to not understand why such measures are put in place.
He did not hate the character, he misgendered them as a mistake. And also of course he's mad, for a good reason. I understand misgendering isn't justified but if it was a mistake and he was given no prior warning. Doesn't make sense to "with all respect" call him ignorant if this mistake wasn't even noticed by anyone else than the moderators in the chat
You are correct, part of my mistakes of misgendering come from a place of confusion and not knowing things. The issue here is instead of trying to educate people who don’t know or are confused by it, they’re taking action of shutting people out which I’ve experienced many times before in my life. It’s extremely counterproductive, as I learn nothing, and it makes them look incredibly immature. It discourages people from wanting to learn, and ends up causing more hate in the end due to intolerance of people who don’t know or understand, painting them as an enemy.
Imagine having a habit for your whole life only for it to suddenly change. Do you expect the person to be right 100% of the time? Funny how you don’t mention that I referred to Poe as them at 4:53, proving that calling them “he” in the other parts of the video were mistakes. You don’t know me. I am a stranger. You have no grounds to tell me what respect I have. Quit expecting everyone to instantly conform to changes that take time to get used to. It makes you look like a whining toddler.
Thats just childish as a trans man myself. they/them can be hard to get used to using for someone (from my own experience), let people have mistakes, dude.

I'm also kinda disappointed that instead of adding a new monster, they instead create alternate versions of the smiling critters that were in chapter 3. I think it would be cooler if they rather did something new
Edit: I did not know about Yarnaby when I posted this comment
They're not gonna be the only thing in chapter 4 I swear y'all act like that
@@Ray67896 Fr
Erm actually Yarnaby exists
@@springbunny7692 i made this comment before the full trailer came out, but thanks for the info anyways
@@r0ccs7ar we knew Yarnaby existed before the trailer. You were simply wrong
I was banned a long time ago because I didn't want PJPT, a game with kid players, to have LGBT skins, which everyone ended up using.
Face facts, it’s over dude!
@@MATAX5 joever 😔 also what's over
@@SkibsDaThird Pp! It’s just problem after problem! This game series tends to make their characters feel like bootleg Fnaf characters anyways or from some other franchise. They just barely struck gold with these nightmare critters which should’ve been their original idea but now it’s gotten even worse…
how does it hurt the kids? /gen question 💀 i hate to break it to you but plently of those kids couldve been lgbt themselves
@@CottonCasp like, little little kids. Those who follow anything they see. Look at those smiling critters content farms for example, taking kids to poppy playtime. Do you want an 8 year old to have a crisis about something that's so obvious?
Why is the fourth chapter called “M Mo”?
Random youtube auto chapters
bruh why does poe have to be LBG, it dosn't make sence considering the time period that this character was created in universe
I don’t see a problem with it and I think it’s pretty cool ngl
Honestly it just doesn't make sense to me, it's a horror game about an abandoned toy factory with killer monsters residing in it, seeking for revenge. I have no idea what relevancy this has to the game.
Who said they and them pronouns make someone LGBTQ? Those pronouns have existed before LGBTQ was really even a thing at all. 😭
why doesn it matter...? it's a toy. the toy's gender or lack there of shouldn't matter to you at all, especially when it holds no meaning in the game. If catnap were a girl or genderless the story wouldn't have changed at all, so the little 2d crow on your screen using they/them wont drastically change the story either. there are millions of kids toys that exist and you're telling me the ONE FICTINAL toy not being a boy or a girl is your issue here?
@@iidabashicos8284 fr. I understand if he’s more bothered by the ban he got and stuff but this video kinda rubbed me the wrong way with the way he was bothered about Poe
Poppy's gone woke 💀💀💀
And everyone’s okay with it!
@@MATAX5 because normal people don't care about a side character being nonbinary
@@iidabashicos8284 It just feels so random too. It makes no sense either since this toy franchise came before the 2000s. I can’t believe they’re actually going this route. A sent a rescue team to go infiltrate the Poppy Playtime server and all at once refer to Poe as a he rather than they or them.
@@MATAX5 are you okay..? Nonbinary people existed before the year 2000. Do nonbinary people trigger you SO MUCH to the point where you are sending out actual hate mobs to harass people in the discord server? Poe is a fictinal bird character that will probably have 3-4 voice lines on a cardboard cut-out and maybe a marketable plushy. Their lack of a gender should not be triggering you this much.
I will try to talk to a mod, to get you unbanned.
I talked with a mod, you're getting unbanned!
(I was wrong)
Pls don’t spread misinformation. This is Mod Fluffy Waffy, no one was spoken to about him being unbanned
Despite him saying it was an accident, even in this video he only refers to Poe as He instead of Them (he only referred to Poe as them once this entire video)
If it was a mistake, he would clearly try correcting himself but he continues to use the wrong pronouns without a second thought or self correction
There for the ban was justified
You don’t show respect, you don’t get respect. It’s simple
@@RosesNStrawbery it was accidental
I talked with a mod to get him unbanned, and thought they'll get unbanned because the mod seemed shocked this happened.
I was wrong, and got banned for reasons that aren't true.
Please don't accuse me of misinformation, I was trying to do the right thing.
Grow up.

Normal humans are born as a boy or a girl You can't change that. Ever heard of you get what you get and you don't get upset? 😭🙏💀
The game takes too long in making chapters
Cause it’s game development? We’re only gonna wait 3 more months for this chapter though 😭
Honestly, only one year between chapters 3 and 4 is a treat, considering chapter 3 took a year and 8 months to make, which was because they spent so much time on Project playtime. Take it from a computer science major who doesn't even know the full scope of game development: It's a long and difficult process.
I completely agree with you
W vid also hope u remember me
What is the background Music?
I believe it is from some fnaf game. Cannot remember, maybe into the pit?
"Caught in a loop" from FNAF Security Breach
@caseed okay! It did sound very familiar, so that makes sense XD
is that a bluey shirt xd
yessir
Im very confused because one half of this comment section is either 'Mob gone woke' or some sort of variation of that. I guess im gonna speak more to the comment section than the actual creator of the video
I understand the whole 'Man we dont care about pronouns why would the toys need them anyways?' and yeah a ban is wrong, they shouldve educated users but like
its just pronouns...? with the same logic youd be saying that none of the toys need she/her or he/him pronouns because yeah those are pronouns too but I guess its suddenly wrong when they/them comes into the picture?
An outright ban was wrong, but they did state in the announcement 'no warnings' and misgendering falls under the category of hate towards the pronouns by not using them, but they could have been clearer? Idk
At the end of the day MOB can do whatever they want with their game, LGTBQ+ or not. Its still a game and its not like that stuff bleeds so heavily into any lore they have that it effects the actual gameplay outside of a skin or two.
Respectfully, I think you're just mad-
LGBT rep characters are KNOWN for getting hate online, so fair that they wanted to cut that out as soon as possible but implementing a ban, saves time and lets people know immediately that it's serious.
Sure you should have received a warning, a simple "Oh by the way, this character is They/Them. Thanks" before getting banned, cause it may not be clear for everyone I guess??? (Idk myself on that, but eh)
But still you're not helping yourself here and, once again with respect, I think it comes from a place of ignorance to not understand why such measures are put in place.
Rightfully so he should be upset. Banning just for accidentally misgendering a Character? I'm sorry, but that's just dumb.
Imagine if you accidently misgendered a character on a server and they ban you to "save time" lol
Respectfully, I think you're just mad- 🤓
You’re still misgendering Poe in this video, no wonder you got banned. You have zero respect
@@caseed i Agree
Thats just childish as a trans man myself. they/them can be hard to get used to using for someone (from my own experience), let people have mistakes, dude.
@@caseed He’s just joking with you man, it’s okay!
You and othres need to realize that the world doesn't care about pronounces and will not use them for the sake of making you feel special. And all of this over a fictional character as well makes it really sad that things like you act like this. I think it's about time to get out of your bubble.
